Before Hyunmook and Yoohan come out of the tunnel monsters surround them. While trying to protect Hyunmook, with Flood coming and having to fight with monsters Hyunmook gets seriously injured and almost die.
Yoohan panics and try to protect ML from the monsters despite Hyunmook telling him to run and end up awakening as high tier Awakener with purification ability. Yoohan end up saving and purifying surrounding area and monsters too.
It was really sad and kind of hilarious to read this scene as Yoohan was having mental breakdown over Hyunmook possiblely dying that he didn't realise that he was awakened until Hyunmook woke up.

This is so cute! By the pacing of the story ik pretty sure it's going to be short story but still it's so cute, I love their dynamic ♡
Hmm story is intresting but it's sloppy. They could have easily stretched and fleshed out the story up to 50 chapters for 1st season. Motives of the 'villian' feels shallow and almost confusing, lack of actual suffering of ML is just implied but not truly fleshed out and important side characters are lacking and they also feel shallow. I hope second season will go much slower than this and focus on depths of the characters
