What about that Ferris Wheel scene? Skylar was crying when he found out that Chanil had a girlfriend. It was pretty obvious that Skylar was projecting his feelings for Minwoo on Chanil but i don't understand why Skylar still loves him. He's acting like a battered wife even though they didn't date, it's depressing...

I think Skylar's feelings for Chanil did become genuine after a while.

Yes I thought so too so I went to Twitter to discuss this chapter with other Lost in the cloud people hahaha to understandt it better since I believed he loved Chanil the hole time but currently I was wrong. Skylar has a crush on him, he likes him ofc but he doesn't love Chanil there is a big difference between Love and like.

Also about the ferris wheel scene when Skylar was crying ~ Skylar was crying since he finally confronted himself. It was the turning point for himself releasing its hopeless to have the illusion he has had all the time. Him projecting Minwoo onto Chanil, having the illusion he has had all the time. It hurt him since he released and has always known it would never work (his one sided love) for Minwoo. And "using Chanil" for his emotions/past. Since Skylar still has his trauma! And he is not over what happened in the past!! It's still stuck with him like a nightmare.

If that horrible event never happened with Minwoo if Minwoo had just had let it slide, then Skylar would have kept his feelings hidden and just been content to just watch him from afar. Then Minwoo would have got a girlfriend eventually and then it would hurt as h*ll. Seeing Chanil now with his girlfriend would eventually happen with Minwoo too since Skylar is still thinking about him. Then Skylar realise, confront himself and are honest with himself. It's a turning point since he accept the reality and are trying to move forward now. Not be stuck in the past anymore
