I'm only on chapter 10 and the dad pisses me off so much, talking as if she was the worst, his own daughter WHO HAD TO DEAL WITH THE FACT SHE WAS DYING RAPIDLY ON HER OWN.
This poor kid had to deal with a neglectful father, the death of her mother being "her fault" (it’s obviously not but of course the kid would think that with how the dad acts) and a body that she could feel was rapidly dying. Of course the more you treat her like a nuisance the more she’s gunna lash the fuck out. She's a child. Adults sometimes barely know what to do with their emotions wtf is a kid going to do.

These motherfuckers wanting adult behaviours to come from a child who was suffering is pissing me the fuck off.
"There was no child more cruel and ruthless"
And whose fucking fault is that you cunt?
"She doesn’t throw tantrums like she used to"
Cuz she's an adult fuckin woman now, ur actual daughter is dead
Oh my god I’m getting more pissed the more I think about it.

It's so fuckin sad the poor kid, no one grieved her death and even if they did know she was dead they wouldn’t grieve either, cuz they’d just remember her as the ill ruthless child that had tantrums and was a lost cause.

Did you know the study on the stages of grief was actually based on people who were terminally ill and dying? the emotions they go through into finally accepting their own death. Heavy heavy emotions that this child never had a chance to understand so everything manifested in sadness and rage, then more rage to distract from the sadness.

This is pissing me off

This is the first time I’ve been way more attached to the ml than the mc, don’t get me wrong I like the mc. This is also one of the few that has an ml that is actually a whole ass character outside of just liking the mc, I love him so much
