Hey, just to let whoever made the story know next time you try to make a story and a good one at that don’t do this flashbacks bs. You could do a little itty-bitty flashback, but don’t take the story and take a whole chunk of it and make it a flashback. Why is 39 through 60 a flashback for the main character and then right after chapter 60 we get one little scene in the present and we jump right back to a flashback in the perspective of the other main character the whole same exact scenes we just saw, but his perspective like it didn’t have to be that long. I should not still be reading a flashback on episode 70 lock in.

there was a big need for both of them to get flashbacks, because it shows how one character is a false narrator. There were also a lot of scenes at the beginning of the manhwa were there was unease and suspicion towards the mls actions. Now we know he rly didnt cause any of the stuff that made the mc paranoid. Also the scenes that appeared in both flashbacks are the parts were you can see that one character, has twisted their past. This was actually super important! Now when we go back to the present we are filled in and there wont be any unanswered questions, towards characters past actions.
How people are responding is pmo. 1) People are allowed to like the things they are critiquing. You don’t need to like every aspect of a piece of media to enjoy it? 2) It’s not about the author actually changing anything, it’s a comment section. You comment your thoughts on the story. Sometimes it’s not all positive. 3) Yes the flashbacks have necessary information, but that doesn’t mean that they HAD to be the long flashback sequences that they are. I ALSO didn’t like the long flashbacks. The first flashback I feel like was largely unnecessary. A lot of the information I feel like could have been inferred and the new information it provided didn’t really justify how long it was. The second flashback was more interesting but because the first flashback lasted so long it just felt annoying to be thrown into another one.

It’s important for this comic to distinguish between flashbacks and POVs. Authornim is actually showing both of the main characters POVs back-to-back, that’s why they now seem like they’re flashbacks. Near the beginning of the story there were a lot of flashbacks, but now, they’re just Dohyun’s POV being shown.
