Guys with facial hair. Idk somehow facial hair is a major turn-off for me. I can't stand a romance/bl manga where the main guy has a mustache or beard or even a little stubble. Sometimes, I will still read on but I really prefer cleanly shaved guys in manga. (in real life im fine but in manga its a major turnoff)

AND yess I started off the same way as you I used to love shoujo until I stumbled upon this bl anime and after that lets say my life changed XD (though in between I felt a lot of embarrassment/guilt for reading it - started off with light shounen ai before yaoi)
