I'm bored, its Thanksgiving, stuck in my dorm, so I'm like "Let's watch a random tv show I wouldn't watch" so I started watching Love Island, which I've never started, and I'm on season 1 and its interesting, like watching a social experiment.

Basically, Jordan!!! OMFG Jordan is like...a dreamboat. I'm not exactly into muscly big guys but he's cuuute. Okay, so first of all, he's the construction worker guy, has tattoos, and is quiet. And I'm quiet so I like quiet guys and he has pretty eyes and its just wow, he's one of the only guys that wasn't too full of himself and hasn't really shit-talked any of the girls thus far (most of the guys have made sorta offhand comments and I'm only on ep3. even the first couple with John&Hannah, he said that stereotypical "give her the illusion that she's in control, but not the credit cards, etc etc" lmao). He coupled with the most conventionally pretty girl though, so I'm obviously not his type even if I was 15 years older *sigh*. And he sorta got fucked over real quick, bc he told her she was the only one he's interested in, and she traded him for another guy, who was with the self-proclaimed "ugly ducking" of the group (poor girl). And he was pretty nice to her even though she switched him, but he was obviously kinda unhappy about it, but he was COMPLETELY ignoring "ugly ducking", which I understand if he wasn't into, but damn no effort. So my like sorta went down? Like you could at least speak to her? But then, when those asshole italian twins came in and she had a chance to go on a date with one, she didn't and he's like "high five girl for not going", which are some of the first words he's spoken to her -_-. so she understandably doesn't return the high five and gives him a death stare (go girl) and kinda goes off on him because he didn't put in any effort and she feels ignored. A bit later, he asks to talk with her and STARTS CRYING and he fucking stole my heart. ig strong, silent, sensitive type is my thing. and then I remembered in the beginning as an introduction, he talked about not having too much self-confidence, and I'm in love bc he's so sweet - y'all he cried in the middle of talking to her and apologizing and he had to walk away to get composure and it was so sweet. he's like the oldest guy there too, and it was just UGH, he wouldn't be into me, but wow.
Current character opinions:
John: he's okay, settled so far, into one girl, kinda condescending in his head
Hannah: she's a cutie, seems nice, sooo pretty, seems loyal
Omar: first opinion, kind of overconfident, not that interesting. when he was in danger of getting switched by Rachel, he told his friends IDC WAH, and "if it was me, i'd DEFINITELY switch if I had the opportunity", but when asked by Rachel, he said the exact opposite, just desperate, kinda irks my nerves, and he's pretty sad
Rachel: total respect for her, sees through playboy shit, kinda quiet, she's a mom so I guess I like her bearing or whatever
Josh: not really looking for love anyway, so he's just horny lmao
Rebecca: unashamedly flirty. not that loyal. switched my sweetie Jordan, would've stayed with that italian overnight if he hadn't told her to go, but seems fine so far
Zoe: knows what she wants, is sweet, she confessed attraction to Jordan, so I respect her type
Daniele: low-key, not much of an opinion, loyal even though she's not really into Chris. pissed for her sake when Italian Jon took her on a date, called her the prettiest, and when she 'pied' him, called her a butter face, ouch
Chris: don't get much vibes from him in general but I'm into the eyebrows
Lauren: she's not conventionally beautiful so the whole competition was kinda unfair to her. freckles, smaller breasts, sharper features as opposed to the rounder features, lip injections, and whatnot. apparently got some shit for "breaking up" on direction. cried 1st ep and I empathized. loyal to Jordan, even though as I'm watching now, he's thinking about Zoe
Jordan: honestly, i'm in love but its not like i know him. he might do something dickish and he's not into lauren, and its a game, so whatever. BUT I LOVE HIM. ok jk im done mostly
Italian twins: dicks, overconfident. only good points this far are being Italian and being good cooks. conceptually they're romantic, but kinda superficially anyway. i could never trust either of them. and they've never had a relationship anyway, and as soon as they came in, they admitted they thought there would be 'better' girls so nothing would come of it. and they kind of feed off of it, constantly bragging.
anyway, i'm morbidly curious. mostly just wanted to gush about Jordan sorry. i'm 98% sure I'm aromantic and would never be in a relationship despite how I might gush for unattainable guys because that shit weirds me out, but if I weren't, apparently I'd be into older, bigger, tattooed, quiet guys/girls that accidentally start crying when their facade gets cracked.
