So Ash and Koi generally doesn't have a favoritism, in fact they try everything they could just for chase to be comfortable in his own house. So everytime Grayson misbehave, Ash would lock him up in the basement, once he even choke Grayson when the latter put detergent in a cake and feed it to Koi, Koi can't smell nor taste because of a childhood accident. The only thing they, rather what Ashley could think of is to send Chase away, where he work in TV and dresses as a girl.

About the apology, in the novel, right after Grayson asked Ashley for the position as a firefighter, Ashley actually called Koi and them Koi spread the news even with Chase, then it was mention it was Koi who put remedies to the two, but for some reason, it wasn't stated here

I wouldn’t say Ash and Koi didn’t have favoritism. Ash truly only liked Bliss because he resembled Koi the most. As for Chase, they were horrible parents and honestly were neglectful. He has every right to go low-no contact with them, he has a lot of trauma from Grayson. Also, I read the novel as well, and I didn’t see anything that stated that there were any remedies between Grayson and Chase. Seems like Chase is definitely no contact with Grayson once he is with Josh and has kids

I think the author is too biased or the story delivery and conditions in different stories are different and readers don't fully understand the real dynamics with just one story, while not all readers read all the stories. Maybe that's the best way from Ashley perspective, but he’s still selfish. The child's mother shouldn't have been separated from her young children for that long

What I'm confused about is that with that much power and money, is it possible that Ashley/Koi didn't know about Chase's trauma or Grayson's lies? Even the doctor knew. Why didn't they tell Chase the truth so the trauma wouldn't get worse? Even if they really didn't know, that's proof that they're worse parents, isn't it?

I mean really, all of them has reason to disconnect with all of their family, heck, since Ashley is a fucker, also fucked in the brain, same shii same shii, he couldn't do any better since both him and Koi really didn't grew up in an environment where loving emotions were present.

I mean imagine if your second born look and act like your father, aka Dominic Miller, even Ashley has tendencies he, himself, was afraid of Grayson that whenever he think of him, he always worry he would kill someone so he was extra harsh with Grayson. Though Chase really wasn't interested in Grayson whatsoever, Dane and Chase do have a habit of kidnapping Grayson.

Oh they know alllllll, the dog, the detergent, even the stairs, but Grayson wouldn't be swayed with sweet talk or even choking, or the basement. The tried to put him to the best therapist but all lead to trait so the best thing Ashley could do is to worry wether the day Grayson will eventually kill someone is today or tomorrow

They definitely knew something was off with Grayson. Ashley was just obsessed with Koi only and was always busy with work. Ash and Koi both knew about his he was a bit more emotional and needed to be comforted a lot. But they couldn’t be bothered to explain to Chase why Grayson is that way. Honestly, they were just horrible parents and only cared about themselves :/

Then we have Ash, his full name is Ashley Dominic/Dominique Miller. His full name really is a fucked up story. Basically, Dominic, his father, is a very heir obsessed lawyer who fell obsessed over this manipulative gamma, Ashley Juliet Dowson, so when he found out what Juliet's motive was he forced him to be an omega, according to the vocab of this novel, turning a gamma into an omega is straight up suicide. So he does that, then he had Ashley, up until Ash and Koi's story Juliet was barely alive until they died in an arson started by Dominic himself.

You got a completely wrong impression.
There is only one that was pampered and spoiled rotten, and that was Bliss, no one else. If you see how Bliss is treated you can feel sorry for Chase, at least I did, but Grayson? Chase was better off than Grayson.
Ashley has a heavy trauma, because of his parents, especially his father. And Grayson looks exactly like his father if he'd cut his hair. In addition Grayson is a born manifested, which makes him much more dangerous that a normal dominant alpha. And than ass his problematic tendency to "help"others. That's why Ashley monitors him more closely than the others.
And at that point all the others have their partner(s). And Grayson is actually the only who seeks out his parents more regualry, the others just stay away.

And if it is because Ashley gave in to help Grayson to become a firefighter, the manhwa actually skipped something really important: Grayson inherited a trait from his omega father Koi. When Ashley and Koi got to know each other, Koi used to move his ears when he was exited, and Ashley is weak for it. And Grayson was doing just that, uncontiously, but if affected Ashley's decision. I really don't know why they didn't show it, because it becomes important later.

And Koi loves his children equally, but he is not allowed to see them without Ashley. So he is really happy when one comes visiting. And he is a bit concernend about Grayson, since he is the only one who hasn't found a partner.

Koi genuinely want to be with then too, but after the food poisoning he couldn't even see their children without ash. He really should've listened to his bff that Ash is a dick but he was so fixated to what they had in high school and was too guilty that Ash broke his brain in their 10 year break up. Idk though why he wanted TWELVE when he's the one pushing. They really should've stopped with Nathaniel, as Ash intended to

yeah even josh cares more about this issue. it seems like this author's work doesn't suit my taste because all of his stories are a bit crazy. only KMIYC that I can still read even though chase is emotional towards other people, he still loves his children even when he doesn't know who pete's father is he still tries to love him

Grayson has a very good character development. The author said that the theme of the story is healing, and it is. For Dane, for Grayson, and Grayson's character development is actually also important for Ashley and Chase.
