No for real. That's literally me. I was just browsing my lists trying to find a manga, and this sense of dissonance struck me. Cover after cover after cover and yet not a single male MC without bangs-- I'm feeling a little agitated because it's all I can see now lmao.

I have such a gripe about frontal bangs. I get the artists' time is limited due to deadlines, but when drawing the bangs, can they not be so static? I have to recalibrate my brain and force myself to believe that all the characters just always have their bangs taped to their forehead for maximum style.

Like a year or so ago, there was this Korean BL I started reading. I forgot to add it to my reading list, and I also just plain forgot about it until now. I only read around four or five chapters of it. Iirc, it starts with the MC in a gay bar, lamenting his love life. He's totally drunk. There's a conversation. He dares himself to have sex with the next guy that walks through the door. Cue ML. ML is either a conglomerate heir or apart of the mob. He's big, brown hair, brown eyes. Also a virgin (?). He owns the bar and was just there for some type of payment thing. MC seduces him. They sleep together. MC tries to walk away like it's a one night stand, but ML understood them to now be in an official dating relationship.

The prob is I can't remember if this was a novel I read or a webcomic, but I'm leaning more towards the latter. BL, Korean, MC is a popular(?) idol. He's livestreaming himself playing a game when he runs into the seme. The seme is either a livestreamer too or an e-sports player. They become a duo of sorts.
I'm pretty sure this all happened in the first two chapters as it was ongoing and had just started when I picked it up.
Do you remember anything else per chance ? Maybe I could figure out which one u mean if you remember some more details ^^
No unfortunately. I think I only read the first two chapters, so the details are desolate. MC was definitely an idol, part of a popular group, but I think he might have been the least popular of the group? He had black hair. The ML has something to do with gaming, but I'm not sure if he's an e-sports player, retired and livestreaming, or just a skills-type livestreamer.
MC is streaming himself playing a game when he happens to queue with the ML. Iirc, the MC was really bad.

However, that is, despite being plausible, also irrelevant. I believe in second chances-) Is about two colleagues. They're on a business trip. The Seme (i think) was hunting on a dating app. Previously scenes before had him dismissing his LI, thus cue LI exiting the bathroom, freshly showered, glasses off and 100% ML's type. The art was kind of not good. The story itself was a world hopping type in which the MC assumes the role of a cannon fodder and has to redirect the ML's attention from the oriFL to himself. The first arc was a school life one. ML might have been the Student President. Um, there was a handkerchief. That's all I can remember, sorry.
