It shouldn't be labeled as a Yaoi/BL, because it's anything but. However, it's a psychological thriller—most people love it for that, rather than the romance. It's a good storyline, and the characters are interesting with depth. The hate this receives is equivalent to watching a horror movie and hating it because there's g*re.
Not everything needs to be sunshine and rainbows.
People argue that it romanticizes this and that, but it doesn't. Some fans who lost the meaning romanticize certain scenes (grape) and the relationship as a whole. But that isn't the message. The author and artist do a decent job of showing the cruelty and the reality of their situation.
The story is meant to be tragic... You're meant to question your morality. Some people enjoy stories like that, so why yuck someone's yum?
Once you don't romanticize it or overly sympathize with Sangwoo, I don't think you're doing anything wrong.
Vol 7 is apparently coming out in November. DW it's still ongoing (▰˘◡˘▰) Blxrredx
Wait nvm vol 7 came out in Japan Nov 2025, the official English translation will come out in march 2027. Sorry. Apparently vol 8 will be the last volume :(

Ts started in 2017, and is this going on... Why do BL authors lose the plot because their work went viral? She's js ruining the story by dragging it, bruh.
Apparently she considered it done and over with after the last comeback. But had financial issues and it seems signing up for a new season for cbaw was faster than getting a new story out

The financial part yes, the rest is just a speculation bc IT IS faster to write a continuation for an already successful story than it is to make a whole manhwa from scratch and get it approved

She should've just started over... At this point, she's losing readers by dragging this story.
i keep saying ill take a break from reading this so the characters get over this but i keep checking for an update!!. I’m jealous of future readers who get to read the completed version.
