I can relate to jaeyi's mindset of not being able to find meaning or attachment in anything and being so willing to let it go for the sake of others, my childhood was like his (minus my sibling being chronically ill lol) with my wants and needs being overshadowed by a high maintenance sibling, and like jaeyi, that also made me detached myself from everything. Even my own relationships outside of my family, I was just waiting for when it would inevitably end or be taken from me for someone else's sake. So jaeyi is a very relatable character to me and his selfish brother being introduced and targeting ideum hits too close to home and I HATE him that being said I really hope jaeyi doesn't become obsessive and toxic cuz the story has been really good up till now and I think we have enough of those stories out there
I lowk hated reading this up until a certain point (near the end) bc I felt like both of their actions were so frustrating and avoidable. But after getting a better understanding of their personalities and flaws I can understand how some of the situation played out the way they did. However, I really didn't like the sex scenes, they were all so rapey and gross. They had consensual sex maybe one time before everything went down hill, but every other time besides the last episode were unconsensual and used as a means for jaemin to take his anger out on taeyoon. And it also pissed me off how taeyoon would just go with it every time, even when his ex kissed him. Me personally I wouldn't have even let him get CLOSE enough for that to even happen, and with jaemin there's no way I woulda forgiven him after weaponizing sex against me. And he never even addresses that in his apology cuz oh well, yaoi logic I guess rape is the least consequential worry he doesn't need to be held accountable for.
I don't want it to seem like I'm shitting on this story entirely, bc I think the portrayal of trauma and social pressure was done very well for the both of them. I just think some other aspect were done in poor taste and did a major disservice to the taeyoon and jaemin

I really hate the trope when someone's sexual desire is awakened and they just get horny beside them self for anyone. Like wdym you're blushing at your adoptive/step dad's (who you despise with all your being) dih, and wdym you're jerking off a dude you barely know and wanting him to suck you off OUT IN THE OPEN WITH THE KINGS GUARDS LOOKING FOR YOU just because you guys had to be in close proximity for a few seconds. NEITHER of them should have been horny in that situation, clearly they aren't taking their predicaments seriously enough and it kinda just ruins the plot for me. Clearly the stakes aren't high enough if you have the ability to think about and indulge in exhibitionism while your life, your family's life, and the entire kingdom's life is on the line. I don't even care about the sex I just want SOMETHING to happen. ALSO wdym the literal god of love can't make a man fall in love with him without sneaking into his room while he sleeps and violating him? I hate hate hate when plots have potential but the author cares more about objectifying the MC than furthering the story in a sensible manner. I really liked the mythology aspect I thought it was really well done in the beginning, but this is just pissing me off
Also I don't give a DAMN about Los/Ross, again, interesting concept with potential for relevance, but loses all my interest because his second interaction with Psyche is sexual despite the fact that he is LITERALLY about to die for running away
People are saying Los is allegedly Eros, but even then I don't give a damn sex isn't how you get someone to fall for you, you'd think the god of LOVE would get that. Him being eros would piss me off more than if he's a separate person
You seem to be forgetting that they're boundryline adults. They had little to no knowledge about sex because, in that era sexual education wasn't accessible to everyone, especially women and ordinary people. Only the privileged had access to that kind of knowledge. If you had no phone, no proper sex education, and were experiencing all of this for the first time, you might have reacted similarly. They're also going through puberty, so obviously their hormones and emotions are going to affect their judgment. I'm not saying they're blameless, but at least consider their age and circumstances before being so harsh on them.
No I didn't forget, I just don't think it's super relevant to the plot
