This is by far the best mage story i have read. Oscar is not an emotionless aura farming mc with a hell of a harem. He actually cares about everyone and his motivations as a character is pure and makes him super loveable. Also, the art itself is pure chef's kiss. Kudos to all the illustrators. Lovely straight from the beginning and consistent with the fight scenes. This manhwa doesn't bore you and keeps you lead with sooo much interesting lore and informatios about magic itself. Holy peak
Yes!! And the best part isn't Oscar himself. It's all the characters in this story because they have their own stories and aren't just there to make the MC look good.

I love how Khalid is written. He was definitely that man in the play who dared to kill his beloved solely because he's afraid of telling her the truth. This was foreshadowed thrice now I guess. I really like how Khalid has this irrational obsessive personality to him. It really sets him apart from other antagonist I've read.
Honestly, his story is ass and overall he's a big fat coward that implied this image of a guiding star to Estelle so he can stay sane. He's really a contradictory character and that's interesting. I'd love to do a character study on him but I'm afraid he really is just a loser afraid of his own shadow (dark) so he seeks out a light to blind himself. He plays really well in this story n I'll give the author a huge applaud for that! I do not justify his actions in any way though. He's stupid, touch starved and insufferable, great writing!

Arhhh so goood. I love how we can explore her trauma and how that gives her some shortcomings and shows how trauma can affect everyone, especially for a child. I love her sooo much, and i love that everyone loves her back. Found family is always a 10/10. I wish the side-characters get some arc too
