I wonder how long it'll take for her mother to finally be let out of the freezer. I'm surprised that her body is even still good enough this long without the mc complaining about a sign of decomposition like the smell or how the body looks or something ngl.
Realistically, obvious signs of decomposition would start a couple of weeks in, given that she's being stored in a freezer, but this is fiction so who knows tbh
Also while we're at it, is she really gonna end up killing her father? She needs to do it sooner rather than later if she wants to beat the rate of decomposition and not get shipped off to her father when someone finally finds out what's in the freezer.
I honestly feel bad for her and her mother
She is such an icon. I can't see this manga ending in any other way but her moving abroad and being happy with her life. She definitely deserves it.
The ml on the other hand... No apology? I don't think I saw him apologize PROPERLY even once in this manga, he just keeps on making excuses for his actions and acting like he's changed when he's still really just doing what he wants to do, with little thought of how it's gonna affect her (he's gotten better at thinking for what's better for her, but he's got to be better than this if he wants to make up for all the years of trouble he's caused her).
If he really wanted to do things for her instead of just thinking for himself, he'd be helping her with her studies for the government grant (? The scholarship to study abroad), accompanying her in societal events properly and doing his best to be a good partner, helping her with her language learning by finding someone who can speak it and maybe even learn it with her so they could converse in the language as practice and spend quality time together to get to know eachother better.
But instead what does he do? He does everything he can... To get her to like him again. Instead of helping HER with things SHE wants to do (with maybe a side quest of getting closer to her using this and a hope that she'll fall for him again through spending time together), HE just does what HE wants to do and what people expect engaged couples like them to do. I get that he's still a teenager too, but bro, be better.
I don't see his actions as anything but comedic value atp tbh. I just see this as a story about a strong fl who has finally spread her wings and is now preparing to fly higher heights. And he's there. Kinda like a fly that keeps buzzing in your ear, almost（￣へ￣）
