thought the art & hedgehog mascots were cute but the story is just not it. mc deserves someone who actually cares, not this manipulative seme who never even showed any remorse for his actions until the end. toxic bl can be tolerable to an extent but as someone who also suffers from social anxiety, taking advantage of someone's condition (and even causing it to worsen) to make them go out with you out of fear is just foul.

Been a while since I've read a manhwa in a single sitting like this. Didn't expect much from it at first but the writing really got me hooked. Props to both the author and the english translator for this because the dialogues? Heartbreakingly beautiful. Jooin's character resonated with me so much that I couldn't hold back tearing up at times. He just felt very real to me. Each of the characters' struggle to find validation & self worth in their own ways was portrayed so well. Of course no story is perfect, but the relationship between the two main characters was never forced despite how broken they both were initially, they understood each other's boundaries, weaknesses, strengths and mutually supported each other even through the littlest acts. I grew to love them a lot and I'm glad they got the happy ending they deserve :')

This isn't a toxic love triangle trope. It might seem like that in the beginning, but it's wayyy more than that. To each their own of course, but I recommend giving this a chance and reading it until the end!
