Im so sad, this used to be my comfort story, even with the angst was so good. But right now I think the plot is spiraling in a terrible way, the rape, the drama, their infinite fight..
Nah. People are like, intentionally misreading the situation. Sure, it was uncomfortable, but it was 100% consensual. Malidin
i wouldn't say it's 100% consensual--dohu wanted to stop and vocalized that, and juheon gave him an ultimatum to continue or walk away/deal's off. since there was a threat/pressure involved, this would be dubious consent at best. can argue juheon wasn't in his right mind bc of the pain, which they seem to try to establish retroactively in the following chapter, but i personally don't think that's a strong enough justification, since he was fully lucid and eloquent during the threat.

Dohu made his choice though, thus giving consent. He decided it was more important to him to continue and keep the deal than walk away. An ultimatum is not a good enough reason to call something rape, unless it's a threat of bodily harm to yourself or someone else. If you genuinely don't want to have sex with someone, then you should fight tooth and nail to prevent it. He could have stopped it at anytime if that's what he wanted -- he wasn't being held against his will.
