So it seems this is taking the same route as the one with Leila, forgot the name of the story but ML was a duke too. Except Leila was coerced into sex so much.
I hate the ML, he's pretty much useless and now knowing how the novel ended, I cannot stay. There's angst and then there's exhausting, this falls on the latter.
To each their own, I guess.
Where did you get to read it?
I feel bad for the kid. She's not one of those kids that are inherently evil. She has some attitude but I think with some proper parenting she can shake that attitude off. Especially since she was able to feel a little remorse for Evie. She's being manipulated by that evil nanny. Knowing her ending gives me relief.
