I think it’s honestly telling her claiming that Hestia should’ve made soap free and that she’s playing into the escape from nobility. When the moment she had the attention of two nobles and became the crown princesses she stopped seeing, say it with me! Commoners!! She stopped being a saintess to the people which she was originally and became selfish because she herself escaped that life. Realistically what is she bringing to the table?? She can’t negotiate, can’t host parties, she’s losing her powers, and she’s no longer a good wife it seems because the prince is seeking out Hestia more than his own wife right now.. She needs to stop trying to humble and bring down Hestia when no one’s on her side, it’s kinda sad to see :/

Yes I agree with @geshra and I think a couple others mentioned about the importance of testing her. I at first thought he wanted to off her since he still views humans as useful or ones to kill and feel better. Since his interest/like isn’t that high I thought his patience was at its end. Then I thought if she had went ahead and began to drink the tea not knowing something may be wrong with it, he could stop her and think that maybe her detection skills are limited. Since she was taking so long and avoiding drinking the tea it may have made it more obvious that she can detect murderous/malicious intent.

See even with that if she did use “oppa” to address him as that which I’m going to assume she didn’t because opppa is used for older brother and he’s younger. She’d probably have used “hyeongje” which is just brother in general. Honestly I think this is based off of a novel? I might be wrong but I’m praying that the author made it seem strictly platonic cause this guys gotta be sniffing fumes

Honestly I love the art style so much, this recent chapter honed that into me. The artist for this is so good, the way they portray emotions is so well done, and almost hauntingly beautiful for this chapter. I’m trying to focus on non angst stuff after this chapter but the art? chef kiss
Nah because she’s just that women like she trained him, refused to tie herself down. If I was him I don’t even think i’d help myself from falling for her, she clearly had feelings for him but the morals and ideals weren’t the same.
