I totally forgot when but I remember she suspected they're one person so she tested Isidore and the "Guildmaster," making it that only "one" of them knew this information while she was probing the other with that information (sorry, it's been a while since I read it) and she just cornered him and yeah, she found out they're the same. Some chapters after that, they became together.

Shortly after this Isidor starts asking Deborah out on dates and her family isn't happy about it, her little brother even crashes in of their dates. In one of the dates Isidor takes her to an opera where the plot is that a guy has a double life (one good one evil) to woo a girl and when she finds out she gets mad but eventually forgives him. After Isidor asks Deborah asks what she thought and she says she wouldn't have forgiven the guy and Isidor gets scared (he had used the show to test how Deborah would react if he told her hes master). Deborah at this point starts to suspect him because Master hadn't given her the full information about Isidors mysophobia and instead given him glowing reviews (she thought they might be related) and after the show she suspects him more. She confirms it when they wish on a fountain and she sees Isidor has the same double sided coin as Master and he makes a vague remark that confirms it. She abruptly cancels her next date with Isidor by saying she made plans with someone else and he starts panicking wondering who shes with (he uses his position as Master to try and find out) when she suddenly shows up at his office and confronts him. Hes scared that she'll reject him like the show they saw but she says the circumstances were different because the guy in the play did bad things and he didn't. They start officially dating here but Deborah makes Isidor put on masters face when they do business because she can't focus otherwise. After that they're pretty love dovey in private but Deborah still has her "villainess face" in public so a lot of people think shes threatening him but Isidor is so obvious about being in love with her that everyone eventually shuts up.

I've been marinating this and I wanna know if he has revealed himself to the world yet. Specifically his college classmates, his annoying ex and her current boyfriend. I'm waiting for the scene at the very beginning when he's being interviewed as the richest man in the world. If he hasn't yet, could those who have read the Novel please tell when he reveals himself?

I've always liked body-swap and historical BLs and this was all the goodies packed into one and more. Sunwoo (the emperor)is a complete green flag, which is a miracle since whenever there are extreme power dynamics in a relationship, it quickly turns toxic and rapey in such stories. Sunwoo is seriously one of the best MLs. He realized his feelings early, and made them very clear but never forced Soyoung to accept them. He made sure there were no misunderstandings. The story had no plot holes, there was not dragging or plot and every character had their own personality. The villain was actually someone worthy of being a truly despicable yet intelligent person. Both main characters had their own strengths which bloomed throughout the story.
The only thing I didn't like was how the Emperor's guards blamed Soyoung every time something happened to the emperor. I know they were just concerned but still. In the end, they too were rooting for these two's love lol. Anyway, all in all, a fantastic story. Looking forward to my next re-read.
I feel like the 2nd season will focus mainly on the love story of Rui Wang (the Emperor's brother aka white hair dude). I don't think at all that he's YiYi's 2nd love interest becoz honestly throughout the story, he and YiYi never looked at each other in a romantic way. Yeah, they did think that the other was good-looking but that was in a totally objective way. They mostly had a super cute master-deciple/ sister in law- brother in law relationship which was a breath of fresh air. Honestly, I'm soooo tired of stories in which every good-looking has to look at the FL all romantically and pine after her. Even her friendship with the hot Eunuch guy was pretty refreshing.
The only thing I was mildly dissatisfied with is that the Empress Dowager got off too easy. The bitch tried to plot and kill off her own son in a rebellion becoz of a fcking misunderstanding. I hate hate hate her. I don't care how nice she was in the past. The way she was treating the Eunuch guy nearing the end and taking out her anger on him boiled my blood. I swear she ruined the Emperor's childhood and all her favoritism of Rui Wang only succeeded in making him unhappier. She's the true villain in this story and deserves worse.
In Chapter 26, when Ginitae jokes that maybe he'll try to steal the throne, I really really hope it's a foreshadowing becoz honestly? Ginitae would make an awesome pacifist, chilled out king for the typically violent Dorca...

I've actually read so many stories in which the emperor or the grand duke or the knight becomes the male lead. The magician is usually the third love interest. I love that erez is the lead and that he has such a unique and mischievous personality. He's is definitely not cookie cutter cold and aloof or an arrogant guy, who goes 'how interesting...' Also, it was difficult for me to like the knight because of his skewed priorities. The nail in the coffin was that despite not knowing anything about the situation, he still tried to stop Keira from going to the magician tower. He could atleast tell that the situation was serious and she needed help! But he brought his personal feelings in a urgent situation, confused her and she could not make the trip. Thankfully, she atleast contacted him through the communication stone, but I knew then. Erez always prioritized Keira's autonomy and knew she had her reasons, but the knight, despite her being his Superior and captain, only saw her as someone to be protected.
Right? Erez respected her and never once thought she was weak, he always supported her. I love him! Joseph was cute, but I don't feel like he really loved her in a romantic way, he was misconstruing his need to protect her as her knight for romantic feelings.
