That plus both professor’s father being a big politician somehow involved in Wooju’s original kidnapping and Jiheon’s mother also being a celebrity who is quite absent in Jiheon’s life, it wouldn’t be surprising for their parents to have met, and it might explain the professor’s obsession with Jiheon. I can’t remember the chapters but tbh it’s been such a long hiatus it might be easier to have a quick reread.

Personally I don’t think his obsession is romantic since him helping turn Wooju into an omega would be unhelpful if he was his rival, so i feel he may want to take advantage of it so he can blame Jiheon and see his fall. Firstly, I think it’s clear that he “gives away” his body so freely, is bc it’s survival to him lol. To both that son guy as well as the prince. Which also goes along w him knowing his role as a tool. I would also say that he shows some attraction to him bc he knows that his mission is to help dethrone him, yet he kinda wants his attention (him waiting for the prince’s orders to “please” him), wouldnt call it love tho…just my opinion
