We only just met this couple and I'm already obsessed with them xD
Ehhh....I have mixed feelings about this. Inukai has to be one of the most patient semes in the universe because DAMN - it felt like the main relationship was between a child and a dog while the seme gets almost constantly side-lined. Not just that, but he had to put up with Shiba's constant antics and resistance to affection, as well as the ridiculously overprotective and rude older brother.
I'm thankful that Inukai at least expressed that he feels hurt when Shiba keeps pushing him away.
Shiba is a college student. COLLEGE STUDENT. He acts like he's in elementary school. His character just isn't believable at all.
Overall, it was equally frustrating as it was cute. Inukai is a gem though.
Is it really all that unbelievable? I'm also a college student and am equal parts just as childish and resistant to physical affection as Shiba is lol. Everyone has there own pace of going at things and their own level of the amount of physical affection they are able to handle.

It's a combination of things. For one, he's drawn like a child - which certainly doesn't help. As far as his behavior, it's more than just "being childish". His childishness is exhibited in the form of lack of emotional development and inability to make sound judgements.
For example;
When he runs off on his own to find Kotaro instead of immediately alerting Inukai, He wouldn't stand up for himself or his partner and wouldn't say anything to his brother - just let himself get dragged away and threw tantrums, lack of any mature conversations/communication - just little bits and pieces while Inukai has to basically hold his hand though every situation/conversation as if trying to help a child understand, (there are plenty more, but I'm too tired to go back and pick out specifics xD).
His resistance to affection coupled with of all his other childish behaviors comes off like he's literally a child that hasn't even SEEN romantic affection before in his life. Or like a pre-pubescent kid that has yet to develop any of the hormonal responses related to romantic love and attraction. Like, I would believe it if he said he's never even masturbated before.
It doesn't at all read like someone who just isn't ready and needs to take things slow.
All in all, the relationship feels to me like a relationship between an adult and a child - not a mature adult and a childish adult. I really didn't feel any romantic chemistry on Shiba's end.
I hope I've made my perspective a little more clear lol
So, I feel like this chapter potentially foreshadowed a method/attempt of making Caius and Koichi more physically compatible.
My initial thought was something that would somehow increase Koichi's size. Shrinking Caius's dick is obviously a no-go lol
I would love to see them just as physically comfortable with each other as they are emotionally/mentally/spiritually. But I also love them as they are and would prefer nothing to change.
So, hopefully they find a spell to turn Koichi's hole into the Tardis ╮(￣▽￣)╭
