Yes we all have our own opinions but I didn't see the logic behind yours. Hikaru is a young rapist. He is raping Haruki and it's not in the pleasant sexy/cutesy "he raped me but it felt so good" type of way that rape is presented in most yaoi. The rape is traumatic and Haruki doesn't even care for him as a brother at this point. Haruki wants Hikaru out of his life for good. Hikaru was delusional in believing Haruki loved him to that extent. Now Hikaru knows Haruki hates him but refuses to let Haruki go. This is a very toxic one-sided relationship. Hanasuba failed to understand Haruki when he needed him most but also felt very guilty afterwards. Hikaru has failed to understand Haruki too many times to count and even when feeling guilty he decides to go back and rape Haruki.

You can ship whoever you want but there won't be much support from others when the evidence in the manga is strongly against it.
This isn't like people arguing whether or not Takano raped Ritsu in Sekaiichi Hatsukoi. Debate it all you want, but in the end it's not significant to the plot. There's no need to dwell over it or take it seriously. This manga is VERY different because trauma caused by rape is one of the driving elements of this story. No one is taking it "too seriously". If you ask me, you're not taking it seriously enough.

I don't understand how you don't see that when you said yourself you were taking the manga seriously. There will be a broken Haruki or a broken Hikaru, it may even end with both broken. This manga highlights the realistic trauma and tragedy of rape.There is no win-win happy ending in that. There's plenty of unrealistic yaoi that dilute or exclude the trauma of rape. I'd suggest you read one of those for your happy ending between a rapist and their victim. This one will make you stressed as rape is a very mature topic.
