i'm in a very similar situation at the moment with my mom and stepdad my mother and stepfather are very homophobic and sexist and i consider them verbally abusive i cope through painting, writing, drawing, listening to music that helps me relax or get my emotions out and venting to my closest friend if this helps at all..   reply
