Good reading
I'm surprised there's a lot more talk about this coming back than talk of the actual story. I was expecting ppl to comment on how the priest is such an asshole and be on the same page about the story like how it usually is when i go to the comments after each update. I personally love this story, i love how theres a strong FL that overcomes their struggle and given the 2nd chance when the goes back in time. Its an added bonus for me when revenge is involved with those assholes who deserve it (you know the typical cliche). Although ppl keep saying its dragged out, I don't really think it is. A lot of important questions have been answered within the story about the time travel and the Duke. Oh and I love the romance too! So i know the author has been on hiatus here and there but at this point I'm actually glad they decided to work on finishing what they started.
I know rape is wrong and all, but these are just simply fictional characters. Some readers, like myself, would enjoy reading this as a smut and not look at it too deeply.

For one thing, he could be seeing her as a weakness and he wants to make her Stronger by secretly slipping and poison in order to make her immune. Or he could be trying to get rid of her because he knows that she could be a weak link to his strength but that's not very likely. However he is suspicious.
It could be the emperor? After all he needs his most prized assassin to be sharp and ready and be ruthless at a moment drop without hesitation. So the emperor could be sus...
Could be the family from the hurt kid?
This is Vengeance for what Ian had done to their son and maybe they're targeting the family? So that family could be sus....
The maids could be doing it.
It could be the butler! After all he's been taking care of the books and then all of a sudden she wants to look into it? Just too many hands into the pie. Maybe they want to keep the power dynamics the way it is and kick her out of it? I would look into the household staff. We know at least one of them is working for one of the suspects and has been slipping poisoning in.....

A reader like one of us could do it. Isn't it true that so if you guys wanted something exciting to happen? Wanting something to happen to the female lead? Some of You guys seem to pretty pretty eager for something dramatic to happen. One of You guys act like you're all innocent readers but one of you guys is an IMPOSTER!
