Man... shit's about to go down. I swear the snake guy is always just doing the unexpected. I really do not know whats his angle in all this. Like one moment I think hes an ally, another hes a back stabber, and another a crazy devotee to Guwon. Its hard to tell what his intentions are specifically for the town and Teach.
Damn... I already knew that the snake guy was sketchy but not to this extent. Like I did predict that he had something to do with getting Teach in danger on multiple counts... but to actually see him be two-faced like that gives off a different feeling. Man im worried for Teach, it seems those 2 hounds are conspiring against him. Jinwoo please tread carefully...
Hopefully Teach turns the tables on the Snake guy either by making him fall for him or out witting him.
Personally I like Derrick and how hes always been wanting Nox and still cares for him. I was liking Liam but when I saw him with a bunch of omegas while Nox was left alone with Yuri he gave me the ick. It was worse when he wasn't in a rush to see Nox afterwards. Just shows hes an unloyal horndog. But I do admit, I think they had good sexual chemistry.
On the other hand, I wasn't really sure how I felt about Yuri. He was always so distant and always showed disgust when hes around Nox. Now understand why he acted like that bc of his past trauma with Nox before he lost his memories. Now that they are open with each other in Yuris rut I can be a little more accepting to this shipping lol if anything it was really cute how Yuri finally let his ways down around Nox.
I still like him better with Derrick, but I also like shipping him with Yuri (my kind of guilty pleasure)... not so much with Liam bc hes a playboy but would be nice to see him jealous and change his ways...
I dont see anyone talking about this so imma say it....Idk but I have this crazy feeling that he could be sketchy. Like hes orchestrating some thing behind the scene around Teach these past few chapters... like him eying at Teach in the truck and all of the sudden the red head guy is going to shoot him when the snake guy says he'll take care of him and had one of the hounds take his gun..... theres something fishy... and as much as I like there being a shipping btw teach and snake guy to add some more spice to the story... I cant help but speculate... any thoughts?
I do NOT support snake X teach cuz i support snake X MEEEEE
And I fully agree this guy is beyond sketchy
After the euphoria season 3 finale
(SPOILERS)
Bishop betrays alamo in the very end after seemingly being his most trusted and loyal subordinate (although there was one scene where he alluded to his betrayal that nobody caught onto)
Snake is kinda reminding me of that like when the perfect chance arises he'll take it to betray Guwon but otherwise he'll stay loyal to Guwon cuz its the best chance of survival at the moment
Yeah I can see him betraying Guwon. Maybe hes just calculated and wants to find the best course from survival and thats to not cross him.
Also wonder what was the whole point with him calling Teach pretty and the eye contact when they were in the truck. Was that probably for survival or does he actually have some interest in Teach. If so why did he go about it in that way? Or maybe he thinks his best course of survival would be to stick with Teach? Hmmm... idk but I get the feeling that snake guy could be a catalyst to spark jealousy in Guwon or play a possible major role in breaking down the power dynamics... idk just throwing theories lol
Side note, I do think snake guy is drawn out to be an attractive character but my fujoshi lens cant help but ship ppl together and never really thought of attaching myself to them lol but honestly he looks cool and level headed my type lol
I have a few theories, but first I gotta say I feel bad for Teach and hes just in such a messy situation. Like he developed feeling for Guwon while kind of having amnesia that he killed his father. Like in ch.0 its shows that Teach's memory got so distorted that he mistaken his father for the robber. Along the way he forgotten that he left his father behind and went on believing that he was saved. And yeah... he was. But at what cost? It took me so long to understand what the Doctor had meant when he said Teach was the unluckiest out of everyone in the town bc hes the only one that "didnt see" that side of Guwon. And it sucks. He developed feeling for the man that killed his father in cold blood...just to bring Jinwoo (Teach) back some water that he stole from them. At that point, by the time he put the pieces together it was already too late bc he got really deep into this relationship he built with Guwon.
As I was re-reading the series, I think I see Teach fall out of love with Guwon but still cant help but be physically attracted to him. Its just disheartening to see Teach upset at Guwon and hes turns down Guwons sexual advances after all the angst he went thru to get Guwon to understand his feelings. Like Guwon just doesn't get it and I do see him selfish for forcing his sexual needs on Teach like that. Like bro just saw you kill one of the kids dad just bc he needed medicine for his son. Another time, bro literally found out you killed his father and wanted a day to mourn. If you ask me, I dont think I would feel like having sex after seeing him murder ppl out of cold blood.
Even tho Teach forgotten what Guwon did to his father, maybe the subconscious part of him did and thats why Teach be in assassination mode when hes sleepwalking whenever guwon is around. Maybe somewhere deep down his body is warning him. But I do wonder... maybe when Guwon said they're the same Im speculating that they're both undead? I do see it more in Guwon tho. Like his eyes are the same color as the undead and his "tatoo" does give me Frankenstien monster vibes... and he also lost his memories.... maybe Guwon was part of some lab experiment for obtaining immortality?
I see good points in there! My theory however is that Teach actually killed his own father and he subconsciously tricked himself into believing it was Guwon, there's multiple hints to that, his violent outburst, his untrustworthy narration at times, his fuzzy memory and I believe it was said that there already was a corpse when Guwon found Teach (but I'm not sure anymore, haven't re-read the first season).
The undead theory is one I believe in as well, Guwon feels like someone who was reborn, with his instincts present but a lack of common knowledge. Like a newborn in the body of an adult.
Also his looks like you mentioned.
And the stitching could be the body parts that were cut off previously.
I hope 945 plans a big twist and reveal later on! Reading theories is genuinely so fun for this series!
You couldnt have described Guwon any better, that was perfect. I had a hard time figuring out how to explain his character but he totally fits the bill! Its like his mind was wiped off basic morals and runs on a whole different set of rules. I mean who knows, he can just be a complete psychopath and just kills people for the heck of it. But I truly think that Guwon doesn't really have that psycho thing going on for him. If anything, like you said hes like a newborn baby in a grown man's body. And his morals are warped by the environment that hes placed in this crazy post apocalyptic world and I think he does set his own set of "rules" based on those experiences in this world. For example, when he was trying to explain himself to Teach after the trial that took place (when he killed that kids dad), Guwon was trying to explain why he had to be very strict on supplies bc there were actually several kids that had dies bc Guwon WAS generous with supplies. And then afterward, Teach processed him as being crazy. Sure. I think I can agree with that. But call me the devils advocate, just to put myself in Guwons mindset, maybe he did that bc he thinks his own "rules" are what is best for the town as a WHOLE and would lead to the least tragedy and deaths (however not really keeping the trauma hes caused them). But I do gotta say, there are moments where I do question his brutality. But also being a speculator, I do think he has a reason for why he beats people to death with a bat instead of other methods and that is his own solution that actually kept the DEAD down. Like going back to ch.0, several instances people that suddenly died became the undead. And Jinwoo's (Teach) fathers dead body was had also became the undead but just found slightly breathing (I think) and full of maggots but couldn't really move. Thats were I started thinking that Guwons brutality has its reasons bc he knew they would start moving if he didnt smash their skulls in...
Anyways, the whole reason im saying all this is bc I think theres definitely more to Guwons character than just a crazy murder psychopath. If anything, I think he just got things all twisted and he needs someone like Teach that can tell him from right or wrong and someone that is not afraid of him... or at least ready to die for speaking what's right.
Like where did that all come from at the end?? He just talks to himself in the mirror calling himself handsome after kissing Teach and throwing up afterwards.... like wft is all this? Like Guwon seems like he like Teach with him doing all those subtle romantic gestures like with his ring, that picnic, all the hip grabbing... but after seing the end of that chapter I'm like wtf?? Is Guwon playing with Jinwoo's feelings pretending to like him when he's actually disgusted? Or perhaps he might have some personality disorder or conflicts with his memories? And when Guwon was calling himself handsome, was he just having a little moment of innocent cockiness where he praises himself from time to time or was there ill intentions behind those words? It's really throwing me off bc he just threw up afterwards kissing Jinwoo I cant wait for the next chapter... like pls don't play with my heart, not with these two

I have a weird theory... im thinking that the snake guy weird obsession with Guwon (like with the other hounds) leans more towards actual worship. I didnt see it at first but its starting to be very clear to me. Like he doesnt care about the town, he doesn't care about his fellow teammates and killing them, not does he really care about himself. These last couple of chapters it shows how's hes afraid of losing Guwon.
Maybe he has some crush on him perhaps (its yaoi afterall) idk and it looks like he'll do anything in his power to keep guwon alive.
It looks like snake guy is putting the pieces together that Guwon is sleeping with Teach judging all the scratch marks all over his body...
I assumed that was the case after someone else mentioned the way the hounds were described prior to us meeting them sounded very much like how a cult operates. Same commenter mentioned how people in cults will turn on their leader if they start acting too different from what brought them into the cult in the first place. I definitely think he worships Guwon too.
