A character mentioned that to kill their world’s zombies, you have to remove their head. Guwon has those Frankenstein’s Monster stitches around his neck. He also told Teach how he doesn’t drink so that he can keep a clear head. I’m probably forgetting details, but I wonder if him needing to “keep a clear head” isn’t just because that was before Teach convinced him to start sleeping and is partially so that he doesn’t switch into “full” zombie mode while drunk.
I just assumed the opera singer’s sister died in a car crash, but from how he hates “love and passion” and his reaction to ‘Madame Butterfly,’ I’m guessing she either died by suicide from her tumultuous relationship with her husband or was in a murder suicide with her husband (unless her husband was the one who killed her) （/TДT)/
