The very last couple of panels (57.2) with (god their names are fucking confusing or I'm just dumb and uncultured) Siwoon (the tall blonde blue eyed guy) and his brother who was terminally ill. What was that flashback for? What's with the white light? Did homie die??? Is homie seeing the light??? Was this story all a dream? Genuinely confused, any thoughts would be appreciated
which chapter? you said the 'last chapter' but there are a lot of parts in chapter 57 (ex. 57.1 , 57.2 , 57.3...)

My understanding is that that's the end of the series and the additional chapters are just terms that didn't belong in the main story
ohhh okok i see.
basically, the one lying in the hospital bed is 'min woojin'--the person siwoon has replaced (hat boy died, hence why siwoon is in his place). in the flashback, siwoon is reflecting on who he is and what he has done for taemin. it's kinda continued in the next chapter, where you see everything that siwoon had to go through in order to become 'min woojin'.
so, him looking at the boy (the real min woojin) dying in the hospital bed is siwoon explaining that the hardships he is/will go through is all in order to protect taemin (since siwoon wasn't able to do that before because he "had nothing")
