to be fair, all the elements for jaekyung’s redemption was there, but the timeline is too wonky. (Like fym our relationship started rocky and we BOTH made mistakes? Dan just gaslit himself bruh)
id say smth like this would work out WAY better;
they meet -> dan needs money -> jaekyung forces dan into his “jinx” cuz he knows dan needs money (does not know for what though!) -> dan meets jaekyung’s old teacher (without jaekyung’s knowedge) and dan gets some backstory from him -> dan starts seeing jaekyung in a different light cuz now there’s a “reason” in his mind for the aggressions -> the birthday gift arc happens -> kim dan runs away -> jaekyung chases after him after trying other men to replace him, but no one is as good (bear with me) -> jaekyung finally learns about the grandma and meets HİS old teacher again -> feels kinda bad, but not to the extent till after he sees Dan all fucked up and alcoholic -> and so on. Like THİS timeline would make so much more sense cuz FYM someone who was an asshole even after being nice to someone’s grandma later comes around crying? Nah…

oh man :,) i love that actually. After living so long with the dragon’s blood everyone wants to get to know the real and normal them. Everyone still loves yona in their own way, but as things are theyre incomplete. İ hope we get to see a glimpse of a future where they meet again…
i think im just going to let this marinate, i’m just not seeing any substance. By now i at least wanted to see why she matters to him so much, but it’s just rich people drama with na haesoo about to be dropped right into the middle it
interesting! i actually think the story telling is doing a really good job at showing exactly how henry has been feeling. The most direct example being why he was interested in multiple partners, he wanted to be desired, and he didn’t want to give himself to a single person (our protagonist) because he thought there was another rivalry going on? Maybe with the love for science or smth?
But idk i might be misunderstanding as well
i dont get it, doesnt the heart feeling this way prove that henry has always liked him? i feel like victor kind of caused his own problem here, he probably made the same mistake as he did with henry when he was alive, and they will help him figure that out?

but i like seeing the two sided bond between the crimson king and the dragons, the fact that she felt pain for stabbing the white dragon speaks volumes already. What im not sure of is how theyre going to make hak survive this time. And will it actually be soo won’s end? At this point, he fought the battle and now the sword is passed onto yona, meaning he is done for good? Because at the end, what could his role in the story be? Can they return to friends and Yona just rules the kouka kingdom ? Meanwhile Hak atp should become a dragon god himself
Hm… i mean i dont mind taeha as a fictional guy, but right now i feel less supportive of their relationship. İ know what he was like since the start and İ thoufht there would be more to his character that would give a solid foundation to their relationship. But in my head, despite of course kang mincheol never being forgiven, their backstory is far more romantic than what we are getting from taeha. All this secrecy and fabrications leave no room for warmth. Na haesoo needs to get to know the real Taeha for anything to happen. She is hurt and she isnt really healing. Taeha is going to add to her trust issues i feel like because none of what he has told her about his identity and life is real. Unless some manhwa magic happens and she is miraculously accepting of it cuz she is “already in love with him”(then ig that is that and i will probably enjoy the story way less), she is going to spiral again.
