I don’t know what y’all are expecting here. From the way the story is written, It seems like all the families are pretty disinterested in one another. Except for Axion (ML) befriending the blonde haired girl of the green house. So no, no one really gives a damn about Hilse or what she’s doing. They’re curious at the most, but I don’t know why It seems that some of y’all want ML to just be interactive asf with Hilse. Hilse is also pretty flat (on purpose). She equally has 0 interest in others unless they’re helping with whatever her goal is. We probably won’t get really good development until the rest of the background is built up (details of the king, the history of the families, the way the society is ruled, the outside world beyond each house, etc)
What tf is happening lmao I forgot his daughter existed for the longest time until just now. They not even looking to fix the problem at this point LMAO just totally okay sharing a body. Is his daughter aware of all the steamy moments between Zhen and her father? Or is she just banished to the shadow realm until summoned
I think my only issues with stories that have a large age gap is that this energy is NOT kept for female leads. Usually if a female lead has an older husband, it’s this terrible, forced arrangement. And it’s like the female characters are always made out to be protected. But it’s totally fine, sexy, and attractive to give young boys a way older partner??? It’s just weird to me that there’s this double standard of “icky and predatory for women” but “totally hot” for guys (〜￣△￣)〜 because then it’s like “okay so is the age gap thing a serious issue or not?!” If It is, It should be the same attitude kept when drawing BL

Why are y’all constantly making excuses/loving the queen but hating the king? Lol the only reason queen is good now is because she is a different soul. The original couple were BOTH sad and miserable people who, in turn, are sad and miserable to Blanche. The current FL is making effort to treat/understand Blanche better because she didn’t deserve the neglect, but the current king also deserves a chance to “change” how the queen has. Not everyone gets a redo-of life so literally, but it’s never too late to change your behavior/attitude. So instead of bashing him, shouldn’t you hope he too overcomes his past traumas to be a better dad? (If Blanche is even his rightfully. Or was possible born out of sexual assault of the king..)
To be honest. I started to get confused after the other devils from hell were introduced. The arc where all these different hunters came out to kill denji. It was like so many concepts were introduced (how devils are made/die, hell and it’s power structure/information in general, makima being the bad guy and her goal.) and then at the very end we get this kind of “okay this is the emotional goal we should try to fulfill” with both denji and makima. Overall, I feel like It wasn’t bad but there was just too many themes intersecting with one another that It became hard to follow. I would have loved to spend some time on actual chainsaw man and hell since the two were so closely associated, then maybe moved on to all of the hunters (old dude, wtf is your role? You supposed to be like Jason Bourne or something LOL?), and then the emotional/philosophical aspect of makima/denji and any other devils battling grand concepts of humanity/love/friendship and etc

The word polar is so fitting to this story. So far, It seems everyone around haru is questioning what makes him so special. His teacher thinks he’s unfocused, the inner voice repeatedly asked what is It about him that he should keep reviving over and over again, the side characters all wonder what tf makes him such a gravitating person. And to be honest, the outside version of him IS kind of lacking. It’s like...all he wants is to be a member of ISO, and everything else is just...happening around/to him? I can’t put It into words, but it’s like he’s a bit off. This inner voice is probably his real self or rather, all of his actual emotions/behaviors and things that he stopped feeling the effort to do because of the experiments. I actually hope the two do merge and he starts acting in earnest like Nakyoung (albeit sis was wild for using them in her suicide plan)
I think y’all are missing the fact that Haeyoung also realized he was partially at fault for dismissing his mating Instinct as just flirty attraction (author San Q&A also mentioned this). So, he wasn’t mad that they mated but he was pissed that they didn’t discuss being a fated pair/being honest with each other. He also could have aborted the baby if he really hated Matthew, but we all know in omegaverses, fated pairs are essentially a guaranteed lovey-dovey relationship unless they fall for someone else prior to meeting them. So no, he wasn’t going to punish Matthew or banish Matthew. Because he was already feeling lonely/missing him (also in author San Q&A).

I definitely predict that she’s going to have to learn how to live/love and trust again before her lifeline will go back to normal. All her prior selves were just naive and lacked self-love/awareness. Which is why she kept getting used. But now she’s heartless and brutal. There’s literally no character that she seems to genuinely care for, and this whole “rule of two to the garden” thing seems a bit convenient. Or perhaps, she would need to find someone willing to die for her this time around (which is a very high form of love/trust, except It would be a choice unlike her horrible family who either killed or used her).
