I stopped reading this about 2 years ago, because I felt like the author just kept doing story arcs and not focusing on how Daniel got the double body thingy. But I stumbled upon this story again, and I'm thinking about possibly re-reading it.

But I just gotta know, do we ever see Jay's eyeballs? Is his hair stil covering like a third of his face? Does he ever utter a freaking word? Someone, please tell me.

So far the story is great, funny, and refreshing! I googled this manga and found out that there's 5 volumes to this cute story!

I take back what I said in my last post. Forget the adults, these poor kids are on their own. ╥﹏╥

I really hope that reporter survives and gets help.

heyaoi December 11, 2017 6:25 am

Finally we got one adult looking out for the kids.

heyaoi December 7, 2017 3:47 am

I know everyone's attention is on Johan's mom at the moment, but where the fuck are the adults?? Whenever there's a fight at that school, where the hell are the teachers? Is this a school that has no teachers? Or has invisible teachers or something? Like, where are all the adults in this webtoon lol. As much as I enjoy Lookism and getting to know the other characters, I wish we could focus back on the plot...and Jay. Jay's a precious cinnamon roll, but I gotta know why he doesn't speak and if he has eyes or not.

in Korea, (not just webtoon but irl) schools focus on its attraction (I forgot the name of the word, like the schools 'face' /ths schools 'name in the public) you can find lots of articles regarding intense bullying that leads to suicide in Korea, and even if the teachers do see it, or the parents file a lawsuit on the school, the administration will try and pay the parents to secrecy to keep it's name cleared in the public. It's still a huge problem in Korea, along with suicide rates that relates to education

    My English isn't good, sorry

Also, if your rich (which is most cases) the teacher will kiss up your ass. You do something wrong? Detention! You do something wrong and youre rich? Ill let you off with this 18294 warning

Ah, I've heard that too since i wanted to either go to japan or korea and researched the most likely way to make a living there is to be a teacher. Schools are run like businesses and the teachers are basically told that they have to kiss ass to these horrible students or else they as teachers will be reprimanded. I hope there will be a more efficient way to deal with this in the future though :/

Was I the only one that immediately re-read it after the first time? And then read it again a couple of more times? Oh god, this was great. This def goes into one of my favorites for BL mangas. ლ(´ڡ`ლ)

Let's just talk about the boys' relationship. They didn't rush into sex like most characters in other BL mangas do. Their relationship wasn't just purely sex either; it was more than that. These two sweet boys fell for each other and have a healthy relationship. They communicated and worked through their problems together. They had each other's back. That scene of them in the hotel could've easily been turned into a steamy sex scene but it wasn't. Instead, Eisuke comforted Aikou because he was upset. Eisuke encouraged Aikou to patch things up with his buddies. I love seeing couples just communicate and be so gentle with each other!

And Aikou's friends, omg. Although one of them felt uneasy/probably confused, they all still talked it out and included Eisuke in their friendship as well. Aikou's friends even went out of their way to that kissing club to better understand Aikou's reason for joining!

And also Clara and her sister for understanding the boys and encouraging them to be themselves! (づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ

Ugh, this manga was so damn good! I hope we see a sequel of Aikou's friends because they'd be a cute couple & it'd definitely be an interesting storyline! But I'd also like to see more of Eisuke and Aikou too ♡ ♡ ♡

Was I the only one savoring each freaking page? I hope this gets updated soon again! I want to see their relationship progress (▰˘◡˘▰)

Am I the only one who thinks that Usui's uncle is that teacher, Masaki-senpai? And that's why no one ever reported the abuse Usui is going through? Like in the beginning, Tsukioka asked about Usui & Masaki-senpai was basically like, "Oh, don't mind him." So if Masaki-senpai is Usui's uncle then the abuse that was happening could easily be covered up which can answer the question: Why wasn't it reported? Or did any teacher notice? Plus I think the uncle and Masaki-senpai look alike.

The story can definitely be explored and elaborated more but as far as I know, this story has only two chapters. Maybe in the future we can get an extra or a sequel about these two characters because I think it would be an interesting plot. I would really like to see more from these two characters. I want to know more about Usui & his background--same goes for Tsukioka. The author could come up with an amazing storyline and it could potentially answer all the questions that we're thinking. The story definitely has potential.

Nonetheless, I'm glad the two characters end up together and form some sort of relationship. I'm hoping we can see more from these two guys in the future if the author ever decides to come back to this story.

*Super long post -- sorry!

One thing is for certain: I gotta re-read this story to understand it better.

In the beginning, I could understand what was going on but then I decided to put the story on hold when there was enough chapters updated so I could read a good bulk of the storyline at once. But even when I did that, I was still kinda confused with what was happening. I kept reading everyone's comments to see if anyone had some clear explanations to aid in my understanding of the story.

So far, I get that Law and Jesse have a history that's intense, twisted, and manipulative. Despite that, I genuinely think they do care for each other and have love for each other. It's just the way that they're communicating is unhealthy, but then again, I can't blame either of them for hurting/manipulating each other. Just look at how they're treated by family and other people.

Law had shitty parents that merely saw him as an object to help them reach their goals in life. He wasn't treated with love from them. They put an immense amount of pressure on him to get in good with the Brown Family. They're constantly telling him to not fuck shit up with the family. With this, Law has to be on his toes and basically be a different person when he's dealing with the Brown Family. However, there are times when we do see Law being normal and comfortable around Jesse because Jesse knows what's up. Over some time, Law definitely developed romantic feelings for Jesse and got jealous when other people tried to get Jesse's attention though un-genuine actions.

Jesse seems to be disconnected with his family and knows that he's treated and looked at differently from everybody. Jesse knows that people try to butter him up by being friends and spoiling him, but those peoples' intensions aren't genuine at all. Those people are using Jesse as a way to get ahead in their families careers and lives. When Jesse is with Law, we see him let Law into his personal thoughts and emotions whether it is intentional or unintentional. With this, Jesse likes Law's company. He even tells Law to think only of him 24/7--have only him on Law's mind. Jesse tells his mother to basically back off and not put a leash on Law.

That's one of the ways I believe Jesse and Law were able to connect with each other. They both know people look at them as ways to rise up in life. They have this bond and when they're together, they're comfortable enough to be normal and manipulative at the same time. In other words, these two boys definitely understand each other well.

But then it gets confusing with that machine project, Moritat. The Brown Family created that thing but Jesse is smart enough to know what it can do to a person. Unfortunately, Law uses it on Jesse and starts to fabricate all these false memories, scenarios, and situations that leaves most of the readers confused as hell. I'm still confused with the whole Moritat thing but that just means that I have to pay more attention to what is happening in those scenes.

Anyway! I notice a lot of people pissed at Law or pissed at how it ended, etc. Honestly, I do hope that we get some extras or even an epilogue chapter? But if we don't get any of that, then it's fine. I am OK with how it ended. This story centers around Law and Jesse's relationship and how fucked up it is. They're both manipulating each other but what else can they do? They were raised in a toxic environment and treated disrespectfully by their loves ones. Jesse runs back to Law, in the last chapter, and we see Law hooked up with the Moritat. We see that image of a youthful happy-looking Jesse, which is Law's image of Jesse. We see how Jesse is talking with Law and their expressions and body language. I believe that they find solace in each other and truly want to be together.

    heyaoi April 2, 2017 2:34 am

Also, about Law using Moritat on Jesse. I'm mad that he used this thing on Jesse, but at the same time, I can't be mad at him. He wanted Jesse all to himself. Like the way Jesse consumes Law's mind, I feel like Law wanted Jesse to go through the same thing -- have Law consume Jesse's mind. And again, despite all what Law did to Jesse, it was the only way for him to truly have Jesse all to himself. Law truly connects with Jesse no matter how toxic it is. And Jesse, he took it all, and in the end, he does go back to Law. That just proves to me that Jesse thinks of Law as someone important and worth being with. Jesse definitely connects with Law.
