The author giving his backstory before continuing the story was smart af cause the amount of ppl thinking Nanjo should have gone easy on him after the bs he pulled is insane Even I feel sorry for him and ik for a fact without the backstory I would have thought he should have pummelled him more
so real i saw there was an update on tiktok, so i read this chapter then went back to that tiktok only to see the comments defending mokyeon :(
Yes violence isn't right but how else could nanjo express to mokyeon that his been hurt. The backstory is sad but that shouldn't be an excuse for anything. Things were doing great between them, only for this to happen.
Also i think nanjo has slowly developed trust for mokyeon but he suddenly got outted like that all because mokyeon wanted to be possessive.
Im sad for mokyeon but i'm more sad for nanjo. i hope mokyeon learns his lesson.
Oh, I don't know where you're from, but they're even worse now. The backstory to redeem the toxic MC works like a charm on these boy moms, lmao. I've seen some wild takes on Twitter. Someone said, "Mokyeon deserves so much better than this sick abuser. He just wants love but Nanjo is doing too much..."
lol you were fine, didn't complain about the many "too much" things Mokyeon did but now you have problem over this lol
I agree, I also think people are lwk forgetting that Nanjo still doesn't have the entire picture and thinks he just made his angle boyfriend feel cheated which is why he so desperately is trying to get in contact with him. I see no reason that Nanjo would be the bad guy here in any scenario The guy was getting played from start to finish
I was also on twitter, its not that I don't understand trying to explain the seme's behaviour cause you gonna be insane, be insane for a good reason but that this is ALL IT TOOK for so many ppl to start blaming Nanjo like wth is everyone going on about? Yeah I feel bad for the guy but I most certainly still think he deserved that beating? Nanjo has been getting played by both of them sinxe the start and now he actually fights back, he better keep this up anything else would be insane
Just saw a great take on Twitter about how Mokyeon was (maybe unconsciously, who knows?) projecting onto Nanjo with all that "You wanted him out of the way" and "I did this for you." Like... no? You did it for yourself, You did so many out-of-pocket things for your own sake, not for him be serious.
That had to be one of the many boundaries he crossed in their arrangement, and probably one of the things that pushed Nanjos buttom after their bizarre sex in the season finale.
Anyway the fandom loves to act obtuse and pretend Nanjo was the unreasonable one while Mokyeon is just some harmless, pitiful lover boy. They'll jump you the moment you bring up Chapter 20, even though there's a reason it came with a trigger warning.
I was here from when this started until it finished and back then I lowkey felt the ending was rushed and now I redead it and I have no idea why I felt that way. There was nothing much left storywise? They are both adorable idiots and I missed them which is why I reread this. I would love some side stories but I know the artist has a new story rn ( I tried to read it but I fear its not my cup of tea)
May they be happy forever
Ugh I came back to reread this after yeaaaaars. It rlly is as good as I rmbered and this time I actually got the storyline hahah, I was a bit to young back then when I read it.
Its interesting that I think out of all the popular stories back then, this one got forgotten quite quick. This was just as popular as sign or bj alex for example and people still talk about those, and have rarely heard of this tho I would say in terms of storyline this was probably the stronger one :(
It's a shame rlly but it might also be cause the artist doesn't have any recent stories ( atleast not that I have heard of)
Yeah, I keep thinking about this a lot... I don't know why it got forgotten so quickly, but my hunch is that this happens with most stuff that aren't "slice of life" flavour. From what I see fantasy related stuff don't get talked about as much. I can see this applying to nitro+chiral BL games as well with the most fantasy one being the most forgotten (Lamento), even though its so good and definitely better than several of their other stuff.

I haven't seen such a true tsundere in a looooong time
