Sometimes there can be more than one artist adapting a novel or any other form of lit. into manhwa or manga, often times they take on different perspectives etc. Thats probably why

I mean the characters don't look that super different either, the art style changed but u can tell both had the same picture for the character and how they had ro look(づ￣ ³￣)づ
Who is gonna tell the boy that being blind mostly results in the other senses being way more used and relight on, so a blind person would still smell the blood and they would hear another person's breath if there are only 2 other ppl in the room (correct me if I'm wrong)
So like if he is trying to act like a blind person and he thinks just bc the corpse or the other person can't be seen results in him being totally unaware of such stuff, that ain't it. （/TДT)/
Ofc I get it's also outta fear I'm just pointing this out bc the author in this situation is also heavily relying (or supposedly) on the fact that he is blind so no way he would know...
