Even after rereading this so many times, i still cry in many different scenes. Even the sexy scenes feel very intimate, it actually feels like lovemaking. I actually love how the artist translate the words into scenes. It's always the littlest thing but the artist managed to make every panel important, even the smallest moments, which i think is a talent. The expression, the choreography (idk the correct wording), and the HANDS?? OMG THE ARTIST IS SO GOOD AT DRAWING HANDS BRO like im gagged every time there's a hand closeup. AND THIS is kind of unimportant but the artist' shading and shadow is impeccable bro like idk how to explain but it looks so beautiful. Every wrinkle, every press on skin, just looks amazing. I can't help but feeling iffy if, and seems like it will happen, that their relationship is moving from platonic to romantic. I reallyyyyyy don't mind age gap romance at all, but seems like satomi is barely a young adult and kyouji being most probably 20+ years older than him, and to make it crazier, they met when satomi is in MIDDLE SCHOOL! I think it shows the difference in their thought process and all, and I think it would be PERFECT if the author just keeps their relationship one sided ONLY (satomi liking kyouji) and just leave it there. Ig I'm the minority cuz many people seem to dig their relationship despite its problems. And i know people will usually say "if you don't like it, don't read it," BUT, the problem with this manga is different, the difference in authority and power is jarring compared to other toxic yaoi couples out there. (kyouji and satomi isn't toxic per se, but romantic connotations is kinda sus methinks?)

I actually watched the anime first before continuing Famiresu and I was jolly in thinking their relationship remained platonic, but tiktok edits said otherwise and that's what compelled me to finish this. Needless to say, I believe there are many nuances and I wish to know your guys' thoughts on this.
I think thats kind of like the point of their relationship and why it's also a tragic one. It explores why kyouji should've been more strict with the boundaries and he knows it in the last couple of chaps realizing satomi's attachment to him, thats why hes way more distant. Just because it's an uncomfortable relationship does not mean u cannot delve deep into the psychology of it.
Well, Kyoji himself knows that; he spent all that time trying to keep things from getting awkward. Even though he’s a charming character, people can tell he’s a bit of a loner, and it’s clear they were friends back when Satomi was in middle school. There are all kinds of friendships in life; I also get along better with older ladies, btw lol. Kyoji was always a bit of a tease, but it’s noticeable that he pulls away more in Famiresu Iko once he realizes Satomi has romantic feelings—he’s not blind. The thing is, a lot of people have called him a coward for getting involved in Satomi’s life and then rejecting him, but I’m sure that if he had engaged with those feelings, things would have gone wrong anyway, lol. It would be like crossing that unspoken line that makes their relationship interesting.
