nah, i wouldn’t call them toxic at all their dynamic is just more emotionally complicated. if i had to criticize anything, it’s that i wish their development had been more fleshed out, especially the transition from friendship to romantic realization. but the dynamic itself? to me, it’s completely justified by everything that was established about their relationship. i can see why some people don’t vibe with it, but personally, i think it makes sense. to each their own hahahaha
