hello guys i need advice atm, i'm a highschool student in my senior year and i'm trying my best to study and to not get distracted by youtube or other things, but there's something that's been bugging me
whenever i log into mangago i stay here for like two hours just reading a new manga or checking my updated ones, and i want to stop this behavior especially my manga addiction since seventh grade.
so, any tips on stopping this!? if you're a student too please advise me on this matter

best thing to do is have someone else help you. even if they dont know abt yaoi/mangago, just say you have a tendency to get distracted by things like youtube. next time you're studying, have them sit in a place where your screen is visable so they can moniter you without having to actively pause their own activities.
if you don't have someone who is willing to help you can put away your electronics when you study with books, as its harder to get, it will be more difficult to be distracted.
but since everything is online nowadays, you cant just put your electronics away since u need them so i guess idk
This may not work but you could try to find a new hobby of sorts to get you away from reading manga or try to manage the manga you read such as not starting any new mangas and only reading the ones that you are following this way you can slowly start to stop your manga addiction and spend less time on this site. I think I have the same issue as you... I’d advise you to have a study place, and then put your other things, like phone, iPad etc away. The problem is; you still need your pc for studying haha. You can plan things like do this for half an hour, and then give yourself a reward, like read 10 chapters or something, and then study again. And then like this. If you can’t concentrate anymore I would eat something and move a little. Hope this helped a little.
Im a student too and basically how I make my self do what i need to do is roughly plan out the day.
I write my to dos in an app or on a sticky note firsg. Then i begin doing things to tick them off...after im done or almost done and its time to sleep...thats my time to browse the internet. Its fixed and i hve to follow it. So i only read mangago at night.
It might work for you if you busy yourself with studies (i mean like focus so that things like manga wont distract you) then to reward yourself b4 going to sleep maximum 2 hours, you can check on the site and sleep.

I don't think anyone can help you out but yourself :) You need to work on your discipline. You need to have control over yourself babes. it wont be easy but u gotta do what u gotta do. You can try downloading these apps, it blocks all apps for a certain amount of time. Or if ur using pc u can block the manga websites that u use. Or you can ask someone to take away ur phone / electronics when you would like to study :)
i'm the same, i usually read at night but the problem is that i have to wake up at 6am everyday because my exams are coming up, and sleeping late due to mangago is really fucking up my sleeping schedule
i have tried locking up my iphone and using my other crooked phone when in need, it helped me alot but once i pick up my phone girlll i aint leaving this site for hours! i feel disappointed towards myself :(

I am a student too and I spend hours on mangago too... I used to feel really guilty about that fact but to be honest I spend so much time studing that my only way to relax and distract myself is to read some mangas.... It's okay to spend some time away from studing... As for some tips I would suggest you to find the the hours you think you are more energetic and focused to study.... For example now that it is the exams period I usually wake up at 7 am so I spend 1-1:30 on my phone and then from 9 till 11-12 I study without a break (I usually place my phone somewhere out of my reach so I won't get distracted), then I eat something and spend 1-3 hours on mangago and sleeping... Then I wake up and study some more... I am the type of person who can't study well after 8-9 pm so I try to read as much as I can before those hours and then spend the hours after them (9-12) eating and reading mangas.... I believe it's better to take short breaks if you feel that you can focus... Every person have their own method of studing, don't get disappointed and try to find what makes you feel more comfortable without having to give up something you like (try to minimize it but not completely cut if off)... I dont know if I helped you at all but anyway (sorry for the long answer and excuse my english... I am not a native speaker)
Honestly the only thing that make me work are the due dates or pressure any type either my teacher calling my parents or calling me out in class, miraculously my work is all done the next day. But that’s not a good habit ofc, so uh
slap yourself twice or set a punishment for getting distracted,
setting timer abt doing work during specific period might also help.
Treating yourself with a candy or something you like after every assignment
