Once I read it I'll see if I can explain or if I'm also confused!

For the father and his other brother, his father is honestly just a horrible man most likely due to the fact that his own father must have treated him that way thus why he treats Dohun and Dohun's brother that way.

Dohun's brother was most likely raised believing Dohun was less than him due to Korean standards on children who where born from affairs.

Since their father only cares if his children meet his standards, Dohun's brother turned out to be a fail so he turned his eyes to Dohun instead; throwing away the brother entirely.

Or at least that's what I understood.

As for Dohun and Yuwon, they both grew up compensating for others. Because they never really had a childhood, they grew up not caring for themselves.

Dohun was never raised properly, he has some neurological problems due to that.
Which is why he doesn't actually understand complex emotions and doesn't actually have empathy for others.

Yuwon was also not raised properly but he still understand things on an emotional level, he's actually kind of cares too much about others and what others think of him. So he's basically a people pleaser.

They both were never taught how to love or what it is so they basically latched onto each other in hopes of that fulfillment, even though that can only come from within yourself. Anyway hope this helps!
