please no. don't ruin this story by changing the artstyle completely.
at first 99 tries for 20 levels sounds ridiculous - how could he not have beaten it by then..
but just thinking about it: it's 5 life's per stage. 1 or 2 are easily gone, just to figure out what exactly you're supposed to do (especially when you're not overpowered). so add a life to get overpowered per stage. and not only did he probably lose lives in the game, but also in real life. just one little mistake and one of those psychopaths kills you..
additionally you have to keep in mind, that once he does sth different than before, his prior knowledge might not be useful anymore because people act differently, so you start at square one.
keeping people alive also is a bother, and I can see that he didn't care about that once he got to op. so changing the strategy to keep people alive as well would have changed everything again quite a bit and then the prior knowledge would have been useless again
so yeah, 99 lives sounds like a lot, but in that situation it sure isn't
this manwha has officially joined the list of lost cases for me.. after 5 years of reading it I finally dropped it.
I can't take it anymore. the dragon is just so damn ugly and the whole story has been so tedious since the last arc..
it's really sad bc I really liked it, but I really wished that the "big finale" would have been done better..
I'm sure many people like it, but for me personally this whole witch/tree of life/book of end/past arc thingy is just sooo boring. and it drags on so so much.
it's a pity, but maybe I'll check back when it's actually completed to read the final chapter

oof, this one is BAD. usually I'm not that harsh, but this one makes it real difficult. the plot twists are so obvious.
I mean the tea cup thing.. ofc both were poisoned.. I mean even if he didn't have an antidote, he wouldn't need to drink the second cup anyways since she's dead? like it was so obvious? with the silver spoon already could have been "both are poisoned" (just put in the tip, turn it around and put the other end in the other cup..not like the whole spoon gets black)
and the maid thing?? "huh? there's a suspicious maid at a room where she's has nothing to do at? yeah, let's follow the unknown maid to the room" WHEN THEY ARE LOOKING FOR AN INSIDER cheezus.
she's literally doing the most stupid things and I feel like the author had to give her a revive item because they couldn't think of a way to get her out of those situations first try

..if proper TLs won't get Upload I'm going to drop this one.. I won't read that story on another site, that's too bothersome, as I don't like it THAT much..

she referes to "that bastard" as Johannas. Johannas refers to the guy she liked as "that bastard" and he banished him away. Johannas was the one making up rumors to trap her with him and getting in her way of being free of the family. Detrich might have been her "lover" in the "history" of the game. That's what I got from it

I don't mean any of this in a rude way, but "taking over" translations is not a nice/good thing to do. I myself have worked on a few series before (solo and in a group) - and although I appreciate the fact that this is getting updates again - It hasn't been long since the previous update. uploading chapters in this quality can be considered quite rude and sniping (which can make the original scan group quite angry)
if you consider taking up series, ALWAYS check back with the current/previous group before doing your own thing. it is actually so damn annoying when you're working on sth and someone Uploads things in an objectively worse quality, simply because you aren't "fast enough" in their opinion.
and again, I mean this in the nicest way possible, since I've been there before: quality matters, and for me I'm thinking about dropping this series if the TL stay like this. so current TL, if you're thinking about seriously continuing this, AND didn't (accidentally) start beef with the previous scan group, please please care about quality. if you want to, I can help you and/or show you the ropes, but it hurts me to see a series which had consistently good TL being handled like this..
i was thinking the same thing. im happy someone is taking over (even though the translations were a bit rocky at first) but it would suckkkkkk if the original translator was also working on the chapters. anyway, even if the TL is bad, theres no need to drop it, there are officials being posted too

I'm just sensitive when it comes to situations like this, because like I said, I've been part of a scan group before and people with lower quality TLs uploaded over us, simply because waiting 2 days for an update wasn't fast enough
and many of the readers sadly care more about quantity than quality and that leads to the high quality scan groups getting demotivated and dropping series
