Probably was, but at least the author finished the story in some way, can't count how many stories i have been reading only to find it went on hiatus or the author died or the dropped the title ro work on other stories.
I’ve gotten so used to manga doing spins on the otome genre that I’m spending my whole time waiting for the twist to happen but this seems to be just a straight otome. Prince falls in love because ‘she’s not like other girls’, duke falls in love because she saves him, wizard falls in love because she’s not a snotty noble… very traditional girl wants to save the world and somehow everything works her way so she can.
