For those who are wondering why Ayano Yamane is receiving backlash after she was announced to draw a manga depiction for 2ha, it is because she has a history of extreme anti-Chinese and anti-Korean views. You can look it up on Twitter and there is a thread of her old tweets dating back to 2010. There was also a screenshot of an old tweet where she joked about how a 453kg bomb could sink a China warship. When Chinese and Korean 2ha fans found out about it, obviously there is a huge backlash. Imma be fr. It is pretty insane to express extreme anti-Chinese views, especially as a Japanese, and still wish to adapt a Chinese novel after all that.
Don’t let him see Abel in his blonde form cause I’m scared
So I stopped reading a while ago because there doesn’t seem to be a final conclusion for our protagonist- Is he even STILL the protagonist of this story? I keep seeing random characters and the latest chapters don’t show the protagonist anymore. Could someone please tell me what’s going on anymore?
Saw the cover and immediately ran to read the comments
Binge-read this and I think the MVPs of this story are the commanders, Sir Melmont and Lil’s butler. Every time they interact, they always up to some funny shit. And NOOO a small hiatus, will wait patiently
I always thought the behaviour of the eldest adoptive daughter was weird but I brushed it off as devotion and loyalty to our MC as her saviour. However, Chap 30 practically confirms the direction this story is going.
WTH- When the lion(?) adoptive daughter popped out the question to marry our MC, I was like HUH??? Girl, you’re our adopted daughter. I was like Hell nah-
Sorry Mob-kun, I think this is gonna backfire on you. I know how these stories go.
WHAT NOOO WAY ITS OVER I STILL WANT TO READ MOREEE
Correct me if I’m wrong but the Saintess turned out to be a male, right? It’s been awhile so I forgot but if that is true, wouldn’t it be possible that the Hero may turn out to be a female? We only got to see their silhouette after all, not their face
People want the mind-reader to be with MC but I personally see them as more of a relatable-oh-you-too? “we suffering together” type of friendship instead of romance.
