omgggg there is so much happening here! HJ thinks MG doesn't pay enough attention to him and he thinks back on the report MG submitted. MG wrote his prison number wrong (because MG can't spell well) but HJ has interpreted this as MG not paying enough attention to him.
also! HJ says JG gardens only when he wants and when he thinks someone is going to stab him. you know who gets stabbed in prison? the no.1 target? PDFiles. JG is constantly watching is back. if the fan theories prove correct, then his uncle has paid out the guards/prison to give JG special treatment so he isn't shanked in prison. it's most likely because of a deal they made or because his uncle felt guilty. because PDFiles have a reputation for getting killed/beaten up. sure JG can probs take care of himself but against multiple people?
another thing!! since it's confirmed the uncle is in cahoots with that other prisoner, remember when JG and MG went out for a labour day and met his uncle by chance, JG hid MG from his uncle and most likely so his uncle didn't see MG dyed hair. other prisoners are likely reporting back to his uncle who JG is fooling around with. the fuck toys JG has had before most likely had short 'expiration dates'. but MG is no doubt the longest fuck JG has had and would no doubt make the uncle suspicious if he heard that. he would begin to wonder if JG has grown attached to him. ALSO just recently JG offered MG the chance to dye his hair back?????????
I doubt they'll try to hurt jingi for being a pdf files when men in Korea are shown to not care about that stuff (pdfiles and r4p1sts) a celeb literally got bullied until she commited suicide because of a DUI but a man with known pdfiles history and sexual assault crimes against women still get to run their career in Korea.
I love Ur theory tho, jingi has alot of enemies, maybe the friends of the "sex toys" he had or people outside prison that once were affiliates/victims of jingi wanted to get revenge. Honestly I don't get signs of him being a pdf yet, I do get signs he was involved with some illegal video filming with all that cassette videotapes his uncle had that jingi associated with (might be snuff films, gore films, idk)
I think this is a really interesting theory! But I have to say, it feels like the inmates that are going after jingi either have personal beef (like that guy from the first chapter who was trying to save his Hyung), or maybe that the uncle is stirring stuff up on purpose so that Jingi has to serve more time in prison? That maybe the uncle is paying some of these inmates to go after him… I always felt like Jingi was a stand in for the uncle’s crimes. Also the fact that he kept jingi in the dark about his mother’s passing
oops sorry i should have clarified in my og post that i think JG is a stand in for his uncle's crime and he isn't himself a PDFile. but also i agree that JG has no doubt, through his own making, got beef with several people in prison for his own antics. i might even be possible that no one knows what he's in there for. only the reputation he gained while there
haeonjae doesn't want to shoes. he doesn't want the money. he wants love. humans are complex creatures who have emotional needs, and heonjae is no different. his are just more complex. i have no doubt that many readers suspect he has autism or something similar, which makes it even more difficult for him to express his emotional needs but also connect with others. this is further complicated when people don't understand him and shrug of heonjae's idiosyncratic behaviour as simply him being 'shy' or 'mute'. i do hope that the author goes somewhere with this and heonjae gets a rounded, fulfilled character arc... in amongst dicking down myongil lol.
i've suspected it for a while now but based on the latest korean chapter, jingi is catching feelings for myeong-il which is cute af!!! i really hope we see this series cont outside of prison. it'll be interesting to see how their dynamic potentially changes. and call me delulu but i want that threesome endgame

I do actually I think the exploration of criminally minded broken characters is quite interesting honestly.
It is a lot don’t get me wrong but I think unlike a lot of other BL the depravity of these characters is far more grounded because no one is pretending any of this is normal or ok.
jingi is much more honest about his feelings for mg when he's drunk. but it also goes to show that when he's sober, he projects his denial on myeongil in cruel ways.... it's hot tho
