I always noticed this about this series specifically, but damn are these chapters decently lengthened. You think that would be a likely panel for the author to cut the chapter and they keep feeding you more. Their relationship would kinda deepened again, i think we would have the end soon kinda... But like when I read novel the conflict is literally nothingburger... It's just author dragging the revelation. And only reveal pete literally in the end of main story.

The mc doesn’t know he’s an omega since his actual secondary gender doesn’t manifest unless it’s awaken by a ghost alpha (the ml)! So at the moment he’s living and presenting as a beta.
