Yeah, I'm having the same problem, and I made some separate lists. Those are still there, but most of what I had saved was on the pre-made lists like "want to read" and "already read." When I went to the announcement section to see which chapters have been updated, those lists were still there, and they come from the website's pre-made "now reading" list, which now appears empty. Hopefully, the data still exists and they're fixing it!

Hello! May I ask how they came back? Thank you!!!

The site is adding stories back chronologically, based on the date those stories were added in their lists. So a 2014 user added their stories in 2014 so they'll get it back first and all stories in a list aren't instantly uploaded at the same time, its a slow process since they're adding stories one by one, so in an hour you might get 100 of your stories back, or more, like you gotta wait for a while once the process starts for you. Currently 2017 people are getting this lists back.

your list (starting from Already Read) will start to come back at least 4 hours from now (very rough estimate)

I was forcably logged out twice and all of my want to read, now reading, and already read list dissappear completely

right now the database, ui, and browser/session data are not in sync thats why your experiencing this. mgo keeps track of your login. If this info expires too quickly or isnt saved correctly, mgo may not recognize you and logs you out.

Im glad to see im not alone, i just noticed the lists were gone this morning and im lowkey having a panic attack because i had this account for 9 years now and there is no way i can restore the lists from memory. Hearing that the devs are working on it is music to my ears

Good news!!
My ‘read’ list is coming back now! I had more than a 1,000+ but it’s saying 700 now which is good.
‘Want to read’ and ‘reading’ are still the same unfortunately but I think it’s a good sign!! So just be patient, I’m sure everything will be back!

how my confusion went from seeing a familiar manga/manhua not in reading lists...

I was about to ask this question as I had 1000+ in my "want to read" list and I definitely know I at least marked 100 or more before 2020 and 400 or more before 2022 as I added almost every day during the 2020 and 2021 years. My "reading" list is still techinically zero cause I'm only marking new readings and I'm scared that it might be messing with the system and I won't get my old ones back.

I’m snooping around to see what happened to me isn’t just me. I noticed my account would log out randomly and all of my want to read, reading, and read were deleted. Fortunately my bookmarks were left unscathed

I’m getting things from my ‘already read’ list back but for some odd reason stuff that were on my ‘reading’ list are saying I’ve read them which isn’t right since they aren’t completed. Idk if it’s some kind of error but now I’m

Also others that I started to read but I dropped are somehow on my already read list which doesn’t make sense as I never added them in the first place…

Everybody seems to be getting their stuff back slowly but my already read list only got 4 back and nothing from the other lists. Is it just me that didn’t get a huge portion back? I joined in 2016

I don't think the rollout thing is correct, according to that I should have most of mine back, but my want to read and reading lists are still empty, and my read list only has a fraction of what it used to be. Thankfully I exported all my lists just a couple days before it happened... I was also able to export all my tags after the great disappearing act of 2026 since I still had all of them.

I don’t think my list is correct because it’s saying i have over 1300 ‘already read’ but I am absolutely sure I had about 1,100
And the rest were on my ‘to read’ list but I dropped most of them, so there is definitely some sort of error

It's better for me than going through the "Genre" categories 'cause the manga in there are a lot older

You can get notifications for manga that's not in the reading list because there's a subscribe tick box when you list something as "already read"

I've just checked and apparently most of the mangas I was reading have been moved to the I already read list... also so many of them have been removed completely sighs but I know for fact that I ALWAYS check the subscribe mark! idk man this is all so confusing

The "Already Read" list should already be back.The Want to Read and Reading list is not. However, I have my own separate lists and fortunately those are ok. I also meticulously saved a Word list (By genre/alphabetical/author) of my favourite stories as a back up, because I am always anxious MMG would one day suddenly disappear. There are literally hundreds of titles now and because I have been backing up so long, I can literally recognise the manga just by title alone;.

Anything you added a star rating or a tag to should have already been restored to your lists, though probably not the right one. Currently it seems like anything without those things won't be restored

Only stars or tags can be restored. I've already been told that all the others won't be coming back :/

I haven't logged on for a while to find my bookmarks gone. Been here since 2016, so really early hope it's fixed soon. I had so many stories bookmarked, I can't remember any of them off the top of my head always got the 2 daily story update notifications to go off lol

my "I'm reading" list with over 800+ manga and comics is also gone, my account is from 2017 I haven't been reading for a couple weeks so I panicked and my heart beats reached the moon when I saw it. my "already read" list was 690 now it's 355...so like half is gone, and my "want to read" list is 5606.

anyone found any fixes? i’ve been using my “I’m reading” to track what i’ve already read because they’re manga i want to organize into separate lists in the future. just lost all thousands of them :(((. I barely use tags and don’t review most of what i read so i don’t know how i’m going to be able to get them back. it’s been more than a month now T__T

It's been months with no contact from official devs aside from their automated email of non-rated/tagged not being restored. Mine personally have been restored, even my non tagged. A majority, however, seem to still not have theirs. I have now decided to take a risk and add my newer read manga to my lists. With no contact, and the fact it's been a long time, I personally decided I don't want to wait anymore for an unknown scenario. It's up to you guys what you do. No one knows anything else.
