Guys, this genuinely hits so hard because I loved Koudaike no Hitobito. It's similar because it also follows the story of three siblings who are special (for their looks and ability to read minds), and each of their romances progresses in turn throughout the manga, just like this one!

Ok so after hs mitsuki and aya grow up, mitsuki gets into a band but she doesn't feel like herself and the angst begins. Aya surprises her by attending her concert but mitsuki didn't want aya to see a version that's "unlike" her so after that mitsuki gets into a slump and she doesn't play the guitar, everything is messy two girls get a crush on aya and mitsuki, mitsuki is really self loathing these past chapters and some relationship problems occur. The problem is that they aren't communicating about any of it yet and this chapter mitsuki clapped back from her slump and picked up the guitar but she immediately proposes to aya without solving any of their problems or heck just talking about what's wrong. So yeah it's very sudden

When I first read this story, I was kind of unfulfilled by how Kazu and Shii's story ended. It felt like it ended on a vague note.
Now that I am rereading this story, I realise that each of the siblings' partners reacted differently upon discovering their telepathic powers, depending on the circumstances and the personalities involved. Somehow, that is fitting. One ends up fully believing and accepting the powers; another does not really believe in telepathic powers but it's inferred they slowly get used to them (like Shigemasa); and the last one ends up completely rejecting the powers.
I teared up when Kazu silently accepted that Shii would never accept his powers. It felt natural for him not to push it when he realised the negative impact it would have on all his siblings and Shii. Also, his cat would lose his vet (this was more for comedic effect).
I ended up really loving how Kazu was written as a character. He's shown to be a character that hates dealing with 'burdensome' things. Underneath the nonchalant exterior suggesting he doesn't care much, he is carrying the weight of uncertainty due to his powers. Ultimately, he could not be with her because of his powers, and he ultimately does the kindest act of letting her go. His actions will never be understood by Shii as an act of 'kindness', which is why it's even more tragic.
