The comedy, the relationship between the 2 pairs are so precious. However, I wish that the author would properly address the PTSD of my boi in the second pair... being manipulated and raped isn't something you just grow out of, and it was heartbreaking to see my boi apologising for not satisfying his partner in sex - evident that he never thought of sex as something that was supposed to be mutual. I wanted someone to tell him that he was worth everything in the world and that he was a survivor, a victim, and wasn't someone that was to blame for anything that had happened. His partner never forced anything and cares but the underlying cause for my boi's uncertainty isn't addressed. He deserves all the love and support to make him feel his worth yet I felt that although his partner adored him - the sex was rushed and it felt as if my boi was doing his partner a favour to have sex.

the fact that he was once again coerced by a random di*k that somehow felt entitled enough to take advantage of someone else's trauma for their own sick satisfaction was disgusting enough, but the more heart wrenching thing is that there was no consequence for that sick excuse of a human being, because my boi thought that there was no gain for him to do anything - that authorities would be picking on him - not the actual perpetrator. I'll say it again. It breaks my heart that victims the ones that have to shoulder all the hurt, the shame and the trauma.

would have rated much higher but how the author chose to handle the ex really ruined this for me. Story really tried to justify his horrifying actions but the lasting trauma he caused is real - if you wanted to portray him as a character with conscience this was not the way to do it. Don't let him live free of guilty because he doesn't deserve it... Totally undermined Nanase's trauma.

The author has a unique vibe that has transferred perfectly into their works. The relationships they show are peaceful and quiet, filled with mundane happiness. There is this loneliness the author grasps and instills into a few of their characters, but the loneliness a character feels inside their heart is filled silently and steadily. I really enjoyed that aspect of the author's works. The stories portray independent characters that have truely benefited and loved thanks to a special someone. The synopsis does not express the highlight of the story; the story doesn't rely on an exciting setting to grab the attention of the readers but the fact that I was near tears in a few of the scenes show how delicately the author handled the character's and the relationships between them. <3

The art is gorgeous, but personally I don't think portrayal of the romance tag was done well enough. The way the girl basically manipulates the guy is toxic... She also told the boy to not cut his hair without her permission which worries me lol. It's his hair, please don't throw a tantrum! I like flawed characters because this gives them room for growth, but this is an oneshot:0

This comment seems quite negative but in all honestly give it a try. It's a short read with great art that you can binge if you feel like reading shoujo without putting much thought in.
