I just can't understand how 40 is old... I know we as youngs tend to think that but as I age I don't understand how this age thing works. Like I know he is "older" than him but 39-40 is not "old" it's middle age. Sometimes they even say 30 is old in mangas. How are they thinking that when especially Japanese people have long lifespan I don't understand the narrative.
Could have been better. Uke is a little shameless to not realize that his unrequited love needs to end. Like literally. He clung on to him too long. His drinking habit, whining and unreasonable dislike, anger for Seme didn't leave a good taste. On the other hand I wish the seme would have a stronger backbone. Like, Uke really did not wanted him. He should have let him go or at least give him space to think about it. He came too strong.
