I'm not getting this "I'm not like other girls vibe" others are talking about. Is it because she plays soccer with the boys? I mean it's not like she always feels the need brag and talk about it, and she does have a female friend. We were only introduced to like 4 of them geez and that's just from a group project.
Idk, I'm just kinda conscious and sympathetic to situations like this; I had a friend in highschool who was accused and harassed by other girls calling her a "pick me", or whatever people call it nowadays. (They were jealous rumor spreading b*tches and we went to a school that had a lot of bored kids who liked drama more than their grades, that was the whole reason why she barely made any female friends). Anyway sometimes that's just how it is, honestly there's not enough chapters out for me to judge.
She is a bit annoying but only because I have thing against characters who give me second hand embarrassment. Other than that I find her personality and style a bit refreshing, maybe I haven't read enough romance stories but if I'm not mistaken this type of female lead is rare.
If I'm being fr I genuinely don't know where I'm getting these pick me vibes from either but I just feel it somewhere yk like
I myself is someone who likes sports and love to dress up more on the masc side but somewhere I cannot pin point it out
She's definitely a character ofc
