What does the seme want? His personality is confusing me and there are plenty of times wherein he contradicts himself. He blackmails the uke but expects uke to know that he doesn't hate him. Like what? Is this some weird type of courtship?

I'm so disappointed with this because I love the art style so much. I'm no stranger to asshole ML plots but there's nothing about JK's character that would make me root for him. I don't understand how Doc Dan could ever fall for such a narcissist aside from stockholm syndrome. Even if let's say JK fell for Doc Dan at first sight, his character is still far from endearing. And it's hard to believe that his affection (if we can even call it that) for Doc Dan is genuine. Even the sweet moment with Doc Dan's grandma has been overshadowed by JK's persisting nasty behavior towards other characters. Like JK, so far all this webtoon has going for it (for me atleast) is that it looks good. The only way for this webtoon to redeem JK's character is to make him suffer for Doc Dan's love. But even that trope is getting a bit tiresome for me.
I'm still so confused. I love that ir's horror but I'm not understanding what is happening at all.
