I truly love this story and reread it again recently but every time I can't help but feel like hyesung truly doesn't come to love dojin fully. Dojin did a lot of shit in the beginning and I'm not defending it but later on, he seems to be such a loving partner whereas hyesung is shown time and again to not even care much about him. Even much further into their relationship where you'd think old fights would've been settled. These are all little things but the way he doesn't even bother listening to what dojins saying, not taking any interest in his career or so, never wanting to spend time with him, asking byul if they should just go ahead and eat. Idk they seem insignificant but imo it shows that he doesn't care much. I've ever seen any inner dialogue from hyesung about any feelings or love towards dojin. It's always cussing him out or trying to stay away from him
That's bcz hyesung was sidelined the whole time. The main reason they are together is bcz of the bond and from the very start hyesung always refused to stay with dojin and not even once he cared for him nor the baby. He didn't even doubted his decisions for once. His intentions were very clear from the start. All the time it was only dojin who was doing everything from one side. Later on hyesung just got used to live with a baby and a husband. Maybe if dojin tried to clear out the things first he did earlier with hyesung and tried to heal his trauma to start anew then we might have seen both of them developing a genuine bond.

While I dont completely defend dojin for everything he did, it's also not his responsibility to help hyesung deal with his trauma. I just feel so bad dojin because hyesung only tolerates him and seeks him out when he's horny but there's no genuine care or love despite dojin time and again going above and beyond for him throughout the years

Do u realise u are saying totally opposite things. How come hyesung should be the one fair and genuine to dojin but dojin shouldn't care for the pain and trauma he gave him. That's not so fair and genuine behavior of him. Hyesung has no business to love him and care for him even now when he was been always in this forcefully. So if dojin can't care more or less for the pains he gave him or how they became together then he should lest expect anything genuine from hyesung. He bluntly ignored the past where it all began and rather accused him for running away so it's fair from hyesung also to ignore his current sweet behavior cz things were always forced to him and he never got a chance to heal for that.

They didn’t have consensual sex until hyesung was pregnant Hyesung didn’t even want to keep his rape baby! he never wanted to bear kids! He was only 20! And when I mentioned that it's not dojins responsibility for his trauma, I meant his childhood trauma of mom leaving him and dad abusing and not caring for him. Not what dojin did to him. It's also unfair imo to pin all this on dojin when they had a bond which only clearly happens if both mutually like eachother at any point.
