I feel like people are hating on the ones complaining about Varia's arc when what they aren't getting is not that people just hate Varia for no reason, they hate her cuz she's not written well into the story. If she was written well and the duke falling in love with her was handled better it would have been good.
from the beginning Varia is treated as this intelligent returnee who has more information than others but 1. she never really seems to act upon it/act like it, except for the documents she showed, 2. she doesn't seem intelligent in the first place, just intelligent in the author-said-so-so-she-is way, unlike how we see Leo and the Duke show how they get along with each other. And if Varia was truly impressive then it would be fun to watch the Duke hopelessly fall in love since he's such an impressive character, but if Varia can't even impress the readers why would a Duke who has seen unnumbered amount of impressive women who work for him/with him be impressed with this lady?
expectations and reality didn't match for sure, maybe it's spoilers which made me/us more, maybe manhwa poor execution about this or og novel itself
pairing seems a bit forced, i expected more efforts and time for them developing feelings for each other, esp duke - he ain't convincing me he's head over heels for varia
lowk am I the only one who thinks the sex was so realistically portrayed after they get together?? it was just so sweet and intimate
if people thought it was ai why not just put it in an ai detectordumbasses
also looking back at it wtf was the purple haired girl going on about? what sort of twisted person blames someone's best friend for their accident?
clearly there was an argument but the way she made it sound, you would think mincheol pushed haneul into the traffic like wtf
because she wanted haneul to herself thats why she is sabotaging them
bro how is your first reaction after seeing your spouse that has been missing for so long that you thought he was dead to: have sex. are you kidding me. crying, relief, fear, hurt. all of that and just... sex?
can't wait to see taekmu's face
