The teacher is not a reliable narrator, in my most humble opinion.
Personally, I believe that HE was the one who killed his father, NOT Guwon. He's just looking for someone to blame because he's feeling guilty.
From the few flashbacks we saw about his memories, it didn't look like he had a great relationship with his father/family.
Maybe I'm wrong!! If I'm actually wrong, then MC choking Guwon might be explained by the fact that (allegedly ) Guwon killed MC's father, and MC's subconscious remembers that and is trying to get revenge.
I'm not quite liking how the story is going. For me, it went downhill when the sister was introduced.
She just isn't a likeable character and hasn't really done much for the plot other than make it seem like a poorly written fanfiction.
Kael's and Carsen's roles were suddenly reversed in Season 2. To put it in simple terms, Kael became the "toxic" character, whereas Carsen seems to now be the "reliable" character.
It's obvious that Carsen is the ML (I was rooting for the Prince ╥﹏╥), but it doesn't really feel deserved because Maythan and Carsen haven't really spend much time together.
On that point, having Carsen suddenly open up to Maythan came out of nowehere. It wasn't really built up and it honestly felt kind of rushed.
I'll keep reading to see how it all turns out, but I do hope the writing gets better.
What do you guys think?
Oh gosh... I really REALLYYY hope that's not the case (Carsen being one of the transmigrated). I never even considered that theory, but it does explain why Carsen is also looking for the fate stone as well.
I personally thought he was looking for it in order to ease his curse/powers, but heck, we have 2 transmigrators already. Having another one wouldn't surprise me.

I could not care less about the second couple rn If they were side stories at the end, then sure. But having the second couple share the spotlight with the main couple is kind of zZzzZ
