I seriously love the novel and I was literally shaking when I saw it had a manhwa… but the art is just… I guess I might be a bit picky, but the characters don’t ’feel’ like their novel counterparts yknow? I always imagined MC as the novel art and while the chairman is old, they say he looks quite young in the novel… what a shame…

This manhwa was seriously amazing and I loved everything about!!! BUT THE ENDING!!!! (╯°Д °)╯╧╧ so many plot holes and unresolved issues because it was cut off so early!!! Please someone come back and finish this ╥﹏╥ can’t even go read the novel because apparently its the same…

I find it so interesting how she has 'no soul'. When I was initially reading this, I was wondering why she even cared about her dead brother when it sounded like they barely interacted with each other, but knowing that they were emotionally bonded by the curse explains it and it's really interesting how her personality flips when in relation to Adrian. I would love to see more examples of her 'lack of a soul' and I hope this story is a slow burn... it would take a long time to get her to understand emotions with the current setting and I don't want it to be rushed. (=・ω・=)

Like it’s specifically said that Tsuji 1. Is not growing older and 2. Doesn’t attend the school so I was thinking he might be a ghost… like he’s exploring haunted places to find something when he was alive? And the reason he doesn’t like Haruma getting close to him is because he knows he’s not alive… that’d be such a good story…
but then it makes no sense that he doesn't see other ghosts and also it said somewhere that only Haruma can't see Tsujis face, others can see it just fine. it's all still pretty sus tho
where did it say that he isn't growing older?
In ch 3 it says that Haruma is in grade 11 (17) > grade 12 (18). So Haruma would be 18 in a years time, makes sense. But for Tsuji it says grade 12 (18) > grade 12 (18), implying that Tsuji does not age like Haruma does. Or well that’s what I think it’s supposed to mean

This might be related to a curse, since Haruma doesn't see his face all the time because Tsuji is cursed. It's mentioned that he sees curses in people as black, like Tsuji's entire face.
Spoilers, just explaining the curse a bit better because the way they do it isn’t great
It’s not that they lack emotions, they still feel them. They just don’t understand what they’re feeling. So imagine all of them are very emotionally constipated (〜￣△￣)〜
To give an example from the novel (spoiler duchess comes back to life) the duchess wants to dig a hole so she goes in to do it. But she doesn’t actually do it because she knows the duke would come and do it for her (which he indeed does). He also follows her around and is constantly trying to seduce her lol.
He’s very much in love and obsessed with her but he doesn’t understand how or why (￣∇￣")
It’s the same for their feelings to mc, they don’t understand guilt but they can feel it and it does affect how they act towards her
