This is so well written, from the plot and every character’s story—It’s so well written. Everyone had their own reasons for acting that way, each and every character made development by accepting their feelings. This story makes you understand so much in human life.
Each character had their own flaws, but they were perfect just the way they are. Even father, omg when I saw his backstory, there was one word that appeared in my mind. He was a coward, that’s what he is. Despite being the ruthless and immortal man he is, he’s a coward, but his character was so complex along with Rose. I didn’t want to admit it but I was so intrigued by their father-daughter relationship.
I don’t really have any comment other than I love Leo, Grimm, Yunsu, and Chae-ah so bad—Them four are so well written (like all others but they stood out the most)
Not to mention the enemies to lovers, it’s so perfect. They maintained their dynamic even after liking eachother, that’s the best thing when it comes to enemies to lovers! They didn’t become all that lovey dovey making all their interactions even more intimate.
whole story aside, i’m genuinely laughing at Theo, I MEAN he think’s that Joe is actually a guy yet he’s telling her to wait for him to grow up. Lololol he just accepts the gay i love him for that

That’s hands down the most selfless quote ever. I’ve never heard of anyone saying that, it’s always “I wish I die before you” or something because they wouldn’t be able to handle the pain of losing their loved one, but Haebom? ohmygod that man is so selfless i fucking love him and Ho

First of all, Haeboms saying he wants to outlive Ho, not Sol.
What he’s saying is that he wants to outlive Ho because in death, people tend to have unfinished business. He wants to give Ho peace of mind for when he succumbs, knowing that Haebom will take care of his pending worries once death comes for him.
You really didn’t understand at all, he’s not saying he wants Ho to die first, but rather if he was given the chance the chance to choose he’d want to outlive him. So that Ho wouldn’t need to worry about things because he would be willing to do it himself, then once he fulfill his duties and he’d join him in the afterlife

ohmygod their love story was so bittersweet
Imagine wasting 30 years of your life trying to remember your memories, that must’ve felt suffocating as if pieces were missing. And his lover, imagine not knowing why the love of your life suddenly vanished, dying not even knowing the truth.
Both of them must’ve suffered so much ╥﹏╥ I mean of course, it was wrong of Haebom’s dad to leave without explaining but he did it for a reason
Also it was valid for Haebom’s mother to get angry.

Why isn’t this talked about enough, I’m only halfway through the last chapter yet I’m already so emotional about this. It’s sweet, no toxicity whatsoever. It’s realistic and it addresses the internalized homophobia that’s happening. It shows just how hard being in love with the same gender is but at the same time it shows how much gender just doesn’t matter as long as you guys have eachother. There were traumatic past, and they all are growing together. There were some that have moved on from their past while some are still stuck, yet that doesn’t really change anything as healing comes different for everyone. This is so summer comfort coded.
When i think of a man that i want to be with for the rest of my life i think of Kwon Haebom, oml he’s the dream. He’s like mother natures son himself, the greenest of them all

This is so sad :( I understand why the girl feels that way but it also represents just how much others would go to just for you to be “normal” as if it was their life.
Homophobia is so normalized, even till this generation and it’s so upsetting because there isn’t even anything wrong with liking the same gender because in the end you don’t even look at gender when you like someone. That’s just a bonus attribute, you get attracted to them because of who they are as a person—not because they’re a girl or a guy. Because if you get attracted to any opposite gender, you might as well try dating just any one. ugh
